I have mentioned previously that modern Chinese warfare doctrine calls for asymmetrical attacks and what they call "Unrestricted Warefare"...along the lines of Lao Tzu they are constantly probing our weaknesses. Recently this site has had a number of BOTNET attacks. Read just a small portion of what the Chinese are doing EVERY day to this country. Is this not hight tech warefare?


Hackers Attack Key Net Traffic Computers

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hackers briefly overwhelmed at least three of the 13 computers that help manage global computer traffic Tuesday in one of the most significant attacks against the Internet since 2002.
Experts said the unusually powerful attacks lasted as long as 12 hours but passed largely unnoticed by most computer users, a testament to the resiliency of the Internet. Behind the scenes, computer scientists worldwide raced to cope with enormous volumes of data that threatened to saturate some of the Internet's most vital pipelines. (more)

Military computers attacked from Chinese computers - but who’s doing the hacking.
Still, a DOD report notes that the Chinese government is heavily invested in cyberwarfare. "The PLA has likely established information warfare units to develop viruses to attack enemy computer systems and networks, and tactics to protect friendly computer systems and networks," the report said. "The PLA has increased the role of CNO [computer network operations] in its military exercises. Although initial training efforts focused on increasing the PLA’s proficiency in defensive measures, recent exercises have incorporated offensive operations, primarily as first strikes against enemy networks." Chinese Hacking
Despite strict laws against hacking, Chinese hackers are being urged to target US systems in retaliation for the recent mid-air collision, and Vigilinx CEO Bruce Murphy believes the Adore worm was written in retribution for the incident. In 1999, Chinese hackers attacked a number of US government systems in retaliation for the bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade. A security consultant recently discovered that a Chinese hacker authored the Lion worm. The Chinese government requires anti-virus vendors to provide complete virus code samples if they want to do business in China, leading some security experts to question their motives.

We all know the Chinese have prevented totally open internet acccess to their population. Are we to believe that the Chinese government is not orchestrating ALL attacks on US goverment and corporate computer systems?
That is a leap of faith attempted over the Grand Canyon.

People, like it or not we are at war on many leveles RIGHT NOW with a host of foes who whant our hide covering their teepee walls and our scalps adorning thier coup spears.

It is not hard to connect the dots. 24/7/365 computer attacks, blowing up satillites in space to show us that capacity....do we have the guts to economically boycot the Chinese in an effort to strangle the money allowing them this dangerous adventurism that will eventually succeed, if unimpeded to collaspe our economic and military defenses?

Folks, like it or not we are in WW IV ..we just refuse to connect the dots.....

PS. It took me zero time to gather the material on this. Our leaders know all about it, but aren't saying one nasty thing to the Chinese about it...must be those comfy flip flops they have 9 year olds making for us.

and while I'm ranting..just where the hell is NATO and what are they doing these days that's worth a damn? Has it become another post cold war relic, a la the UN that is simply a bottomless pit into which we throw money?
