We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Definitely unusual - but life is strange. Here. Piece at Ace.
Ace, predictably, wondered about their future sex life, but we wondered about motor control. Whose brain does the walking? It seems to me that the one on the right just kinda goes along for the ride. Anyway, the whole thing is fascinating, and they are remarkable in their "normalcy."
My first thought when I saw them on TV was, How do they address this at school? Is there any reason for them to have to take seperate tests?
Bird dog is right, it's too easy to make jokes about. When the clip said something about one girl liking math and the other prefering lit, I had a right brain / left brain joke spring to mind, unbidden. And I felt a little bad about it.
