Our house was on this alley in Sarlat (Sarlat-le-Caneda). Church to the right, Lantern of the Dead behind commemorating the dead from the plagues.
Croques Monsieur on the bank of the Vezere

Town square of Sarlat. On Market Day it is jammed with stalls

Late lunch on our patio. Those French strawberries are amazing.

Canoeing down the Vezere. The Vezere later joins the Dodogne which then joins the Garonne and hence through Bordeaux to the ocean.

Best Entree of our trip. (The Entree in France is the Primi in Italian - the first course.) That's a duck liver with just the outside roasteds over coals, served with a little corn pudding and corn ice cream. Corn (maize) ice cream? Yup.
