We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

One can object to Andy Burnham, but the parliamentary system has been in place for centuries. There's nothing unusual about a prime minister coming to power without a general election. That is misleading. Georgia conducts audits after every election that compares the actual ballot to the count. If there are discrepancies, then these can be investigated. In 2020, the election most under scrutiny, every ballot was hand recounted. This hand recount verified the machine count to a very high degree of accuracy.

Sure, Georgie should get rid of the QR code system and read the ballots directly, but that doesn't mean the election result was in error.

Another church has mysteriously burned down in NY City. Europe has had about 2000 Christian churches burn down since they agreed to commit suicide by unrestricted illegal immigration from shit hole countries. There are 53 Muslim nations in the world today. Everyone of them was forcibly converted to Islam. It is estimated that this forced conversion has killed between 200-300 million people. Probably enslaved and raped far more than that. Who is next? If you had asked me a year ago I would say a tossup between France and Italy but then Spain said "hold my Sherry". England is on their heels. Who will it be? Who will win the rape gang lottery???

Last week I viewed a video of an American pilot (Asian Descent) who talked about military strategies and alternatives with regard to the Iran war. He is qualified to fly multiple airplanes and has worked as a commercial pilot. I have lost that link, would you please forward. I think I picked it up here at MF.

The rest is a whole lot of forest, animals and no people.
No people means no roads, no access and very little property to be destroyed.

Look at it this way: The forest fires are inevitable. Burning all this wood this summer means less burning next summer.

2023 was actually a peak year by far... I don't remember hearing complaints from the great unwashed in previous years...
