Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I learned things from this

I know, I hate the AI voice but this is good. Yeah, the IRGC has owned Iran in the same way that Hezbollah has owned Lebanon. Is it all religious, or what?


Where would they be without Jews or the Great Satan to hate?

All the expert class was critiquing 4th, 5th, 6th generation warfare and how it was doomed to failure in Iran. The expert class missed the boat. Iran is much like Venezuela, neutralize the rabid class in country and let the country reorganize itself.

At least Bob Sykes can admit that he's nothing but a Jew-hating bigot. You hide behind conspiracy theories. I trust the Jews to safeguarding the Holy Land over any protestant denomination. And I understand the Jews' point of view if they don't trust the Catholic or Eastern Orthodox to keep it safe. I'm thankful that, generally, they are a tolerant people.

It's been their land since long before the Roman republic. I see no reason why they don't have a right to it.
