The climate change grift has spent billions of taxpayers dollars bribing scientists and "experts" to declare that climate change is caused by man. There is no proof but they spent billions of your money paying off dishonest "experts" to support the grift. The reason for all this is that there are trillions to be extorted from Western governments, i.e. tax payers and unlimited power to be had with the proposed legislation. The ultimate intent of this grift is to bankrupt all Western nations and to complete the destruction with regulations that will make them ungovernable and they will devolve into anarchy. The ultimate goal is world domination and elimination of individual rights leading to a worldwide communist style government. Most of the high level actors in this grift know it is all false and will destroy the world as we know it. Most of the lower level participants are willing, clueless, useful idiots who drink left wing propaganda from a fire hose. We are staring into the abyss and being pushed from behind by failures of our education system.

There is ALWAYS sea level rise when emerging from an ice age. The Bering land bridge submergence and the North Sea emergence are two fine examples. Before the next ice age begins we will likely have no polar ice caps at all. Only the statist Gaia worshipers are in a panic. And maybe Al Gore and the carbon credit hustle.

Come on. The four satellites used (Topex and Jason 1, 2 and 3) have instrument error of plus or minus 33mm. So, Hamlington et al., extrapolate the data to a curve. Of course the doomsayers like a quadratic curve, because of the ever increase in doom. However the data also fits nicely to a sinusoidal curve. Dr. Alan Welch FBIS FRAS, Ledbury, UK, argues that 30 years, is not enough data. Plus, the data does not reflect changing volume of the oceans. Volume can decrease or increase based on continental drift, etc.. And who knows what happens on the beds of the oceans.

Finally, approximately (~) 4.5mm is less than 3/16 of an inch(0.177in)! Wow! We were promised meters of ocean rise. New York City should be underwater by now.

Why do you persists in this nonsense? No intelligent person would say that we don't have room for improvement being better stewards to the environment. However, the very presence of man on earth, with his technology, using the resources available, are not killing the planet.

The error margins have been significantly reduced. Here are the current error margins: "1993 was 2.1 + /− 1.0 mm/year while the rate at the end of 2023 was 4.5 + /− 1.0 mm/year."

If sea level rise continues with the same rate of acceleration, then sea levels will rise about 50 cm by 2100, depending on emission levels. A rapid collapse of the ice caps could result in much higher levels, but that is not considered likely.

There is no such scientific consensus. From a previous thread: Humans are highly adaptable. They can overcome the difficulties associated with anthropogenic climate change. Indeed, humans have already made major strides in mitigation. However, the longer it takes to temper anthropogenic global warming, the greater the economic cost and the greater the permanent losses to humanity's shared ecological inheritance. There are also second-order effects, such as increased human migration which is already causing significant strains to political and social systems.

Handwaving and ad hominem are tried and true tactics, but don’t constitute an actual argument. Human migration due to changing climate has occurred throughout human existence. Therefore, it is reasonable to suppose that anthropogenic global warming will also cause human migration. While human migration often has many interlocking causes, the evidence is that global warming is already a significant factor. For instance, a million Somalis have been internally displaced due to drought and flooding exacerbated by climate change. Projecting forward, consider the effect of a 50 cm sea level rise on Florida or Bangladesh.

While the evidence for anthropogenic global warming is robust and multifarious, how the excess energy will distribute through the climate system is still somewhat obscure. The evidence suggests that there will be more extremes; consequently, more intense rains punctuated by more intense dry spells would be consistent with this evidence.

Obama’s house on Martha’s Vineyard is 3 meters above sea level, well above any expected sea level rise.

But sure, keep waving your hands at those pesky facts.

Those that arent are used to floods and storms ravaging their homes occasionally as they have for hundreds of years. If they end up moving inland at some point, well, they move. Of note, historically climate change and human migration led to wars and civilizational collapse.

There are differences, of course. Current global warming is human caused. Current rates of climate change are anomalously rapid. The world is much more populated with vast infrastructures concentrated on coastlines. With scientific foresight, humans have the tools to mitigate, adapt, and prosper. However, pretending global warming isn't occurring will result in greater economic and social damage, as well as a greater loss of humanity's shared ecological inheritance.

Polar bears are still classified as vulnerable. While some populations are stable, others are declining.

Some areas of the Sahel are greening, others are in decline. Some of this is due to increased rainfall due to climate change, CO2 fertilization, along with better agricultural practices. How does that imply the Earth's surface isn't warming?
