We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Be careful, stay safe. Like the US, the refugee enclaves are neither pervasive nor everywhere, so there's still plenty to see without the humanity pollution.
I suspected that what Aggie reports is true. There are places you don't go. Now there are more of them, and the people are even worse than before.

Mom treated my DD and I for 10 days in 2002. I had been several times before during the 1970's and in 1990's. Paris was nothing NOTHING like you see in this video. It is too bad the couple making this film seem to be too angry before even arriving in country. But that does not excuse what has happened and what they are reporting about. It is heart breakng. No wonder they are trying to get rid of Macron!
So much of this is due to the EU demanding the countries accept any and all people no matter what destruction may be the result. Will be the same in the US if it is allowed to continue in the future.
Forget Paris or any other major city in France. They're all full of third-world engineers and doctors and their well manicured neighborhoods and upscale vendors.
Marseille, Lyon and Grenoble are even worse than Paris and even more dangerous. The French, who generally stay in their own country for holidays, don't go to these cities.
