Hunted yesterday and this morning in northern New Hampshire (near Pittsburg, NH - The Grouse Capital of New England), and now back to good old Pittsfield, MA, with a few grouse in the bag along with some dawdling woodcock who dawdled too long. And a very tired pup, with plenty of cuts from the brambles. Our ancestors sure did name a lot of towns after William Pitt, did we not?
