Studies showed a very small risk of myocarditis from vaccination, much lower than the risk of myocarditis from natural infection.


Studies showed that droplets from coughing tend fall out of the air within about six feet or so. However, aerosols may remain in the air for hours. This became a primary mechanism of transmission in poorly ventilated places.


It's obvious the Sun moves around the Earth. In fact, the COVID vaccine reduces the risk of infection and the length of sickness, and therefore the risk of transmission. Keep in mind that even the original vaccine was only 95% effective at preventing disease from the original strain of COVID. As the virus mutated, the risk of breakthrough infection increased, but immune memory meant the risk of hospitalization or death was still significantly reduced.


That is presumably referring to intubation. Intubation was used when patients were already near death and all other means of life support were insufficient, meaning they likely would have died anyway. However, different hospitals had different protocols, so some patients may have been intubated too early in the course of the disease. That doesn't explain the vast number of deaths due to COVID.


The data has been studied in detail. Counted deaths from COVID and excess deaths closely match, going up and down with COVID outbreaks. This correlation is strong evidence of causation. In addition, autopsies were done to study the course of the disease, so there is strong evidence of how COVID causes mortality.

That's about the population adjusted rate in the United States. However, the rate of firearm homicide is dozens of times higher in the United States.

That's the standard development model. After the American Revolution, the United States copied British manufacturing, then improved on it. While the transfer of technology can be slowed, it can't be stopped.

To maintain its economic prosperity, the United States must continue to innovate. That means to import the best of the world's students, maintain a strong university system, consistently apply laws and regulations, have low barriers to market entry, and develop open international trade based on mutual respect. The worst thing to do is the try to recapture the past glories of American economic supremacy, dismantling the globally best research universities, suddenly expelling foreign talent, reducing immigration and so relegating the best trained workers to menial tasks, undermining the rule of law, unilaterally impose tariffs, create cultural and economic chaos, and threaten critics.
