Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

"Women Talk More Than Men After All" They may talk more than men, but when I was in business the men were by far the worst gossips.
Men might be worse, but I don't know how we would measure that. I worked in largely female (including female authority) setting at a state psych hospital for over 40 years, with whole departments being female. My guess: men are more publicly critical in a gossipy way, but women are far more gossipy in a confidential or disguised way. YMMV. Tangentially, in that situation women are much more openly critical of men in general, if only because they can get away with it without consequences.
As for sheer volume of speech, I am one of those who brings the male average up. My first thought when I saw the headline was, "What do they mean by "After All?". Did anyone actually think that men talk more than women?
I could only guess at how many words I speak in a day, but it would be way lower than the averages stated in the article. 2,000 words sounds like a lot to me. Their average of 16,000 per day sounds unbelievable. How has their "most chatty participant" at 124K words per day not already been strangled by some frustrated poor soul? It's not just gossip.
They just can't STFU. They always want to babble about something. I wonder what the evolutionary advantage in that was? When will SS United States reach Alabama? Historic ocean liner closer to becoming artificial reef

QUOTE: Article Two of the Constitution however, says very bluntly: Executive power shall be vested in the U.S. President (with no ifs or buts at all.) Trump intends for his Administration to recover that lost Executive power. It was, in fact, lost long ago. Trump is re-claiming too, the Executive’s right to dismiss ‘servants of the State’, and to ‘switch off’ wasteful expenditure at his discretion, as part of a unitary executive prerequisite. . . . Many mainstream lawyers believe Trump’s Unitary Executive claim to be illegal. The question is whether Congress can stand up Agencies designed to act independently of the President; and how does that square with the separation of powers and Article Two that vests unqualified executive power with one sole elected official – the U.S. President. . . . How did the Democrats not see this coming? Lawyer Robert Barnes essentially says that the ‘blitzkrieg’ was “exceptionally well-planned” and had been discussed in Trump circles since late 2020. . . . Yet, far more consequential than most of the happenings of the past few days was when Trump, speaking with Fox News, after attending Daytona, dismissed Zelensky’s canard of Russia wanting to invade NATO countries. “I don’t agree with that; not even a little bit”, Trump retorted. Trump does not buy into the primary lie intended as the glue which holds this entire EU geo-political structure together. For, without the ‘Russia threat’; without the U.S. believing in the globalist linchpin lie, there can be no pretence of Europe needing to prepare for war with Russia. Europe ultimately will have to come to reconcile its future as a periphery in Eurasia. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/america-republic-not-empire-europes-sound-and-fury-after-jaw-dropping-pivots-us-policy feeblemind: Executive power shall be vested in the U.S. President (with no ifs or buts at all.)
Perhaps you are confusing the United States with Imperial Rome. Executive power does not mean the president is unconstrained by law. Indeed, the President has a Constitutional duty to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed”. Congress has the power to impose conditions on funding, such as civil service laws. But there are limits to Congressional power, just like there is limits to Presidential power. The Trump derangement syndrome and the Vance derangement syndrome are classic communist tactics of the left. This is what the did in the communist takeovers in South and Central America and in Asia. They target the leaders of the opposition, pay demonstrators to riot and wave flags and signs, and have left wing judges try to put them in jail. The Democrat party has been taken over by communists.
'Women Talk More Than Men After All, And By Quite a Lot'
Was that posted on a website called Duh!.com? Hmmm. They call Vance a traitor, while waving pride flags and Ukraine flags. A traitor to whom? That pride flag does not represent classic American values. I dare say it represents tyranny. It’s a symbol of a repressive religious cult. When you wave an Ukraine flag, what message are you trying to convey? Oh, I know the obvious message: Russia bad, Putin evil. Except when Russia and Putin are not those things. Like when Obama was telling Romney that the 80’s called, the Cold War is over. When Obama said, tell Vlad I’ll have more flexibility after the election. Hillary and her reset button. Bill Clinton collecting $500k for a speech in Moscow. Russia giving millions to the Clinton Foundation. Europe continuing to buy petroleum products from Russia. Europe has in fact given Russia more money than to Ukraine. Yes, but Trump sucks. He and his boot licker Vance. Why is that? I believe it is because he wants peace. He would rather do business than kill young men on a battlefield.
Lipstadt: lots of good alternatives: any Israeli University, Yeshiva Univeristy and Musk's Austin University.
The very moment ANY European Nato country sends "security forces" to Ukraine is the very moment Trump pulls the US out of Nato. You can be assured that a red flag event will occur and that country, along with all the Euro's, will insist we come to their mutual defense. No thanks. It is time the Euro's grow up and get out of the US 'basement' and stand on their own.
