We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Everything you see opposing USAID and DOGE's actions in general is absolute proof that Trump and Musk are right. All of the hysteria and tantrums are nothing more than the grifters angry that Trump is ending the grift. Every well know person, leaders, politicians, NGO organizers, etc.; all of them were the grifters profiting either directly or indirectly from USAID and other government departments. The entire DC cartel is corrupt and all the sturm and drang is an attempt to restore the endless flow of tax payer money into thousands of politicians pockets and even anti-American groups.

A deeper audit is needed. How much of this money was used to pay for the 25 million fake Democrat votes in 2020? How many of the thousands of SS recipients over age 120 voted for Biden? The corruption runs deep and we need to expose it all.

It has only been 3 weeks. I have yet to see any permanent damage inflicted on the Deep State.

Me thinks the writers of pieces like this are living in a state of euphoria. While the news has been good so far, it's way too early to be euphoric.

There was a 10 year study of what worked the best to educate children called Project Follow Through. They already know what works but the Education mafia doesn't want to follow it because teachers don't want to do it because they complain it's boring.

Another government department that needs to be fixed is the ATF. Awhile back their name was changed to include "explosives". So they are really the ATFE. But I think it has always been a mistake to have a federal agency controlling firearms. Congress can make laws regarding firearms just as they can make laws regarding any of our civil rights. But why the ATF??? So rename them the ATE (Alcohol, Tobacco and Explosives) and get them out of the business of political meddling in our civil rights. Please, Mr. President Trump, fix the ATF.
