We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

I wonder if sister Dylan was "wounded" during her "makeover".

That beer always sucked. Them going woke was such a blessing to Yuengling and to beer lovers who had never tasted actual beer, good beer that has been part of America's tradition for about 200 years of brewing.

Real Bud no longer has that Beechwood aging character about it.

Were I in charge at Bud's operations I would reintroduce long neck returnable, reusable bottle and fill them with good beer.

Apply this evenly. AOC would be out of office. Almost every left leaning black would be out of a job. 100% of the anti-discrimination rules our government implements are racist. The published purpose of DEI is racism. Just the statement "black lives matter" is racist.

The entire Democrat party was openly violently racist against blacks from 1865 until about 1965. After this was exposed and rejected they converted to selective and subversive racism after 1965. Their goal and agenda is to use racism to gain and hold power over America forever. Racism is the religion of the left. The left calling others racist is a classic Marxist ploy to accuse others of what you yourself are doing. The left has been captured by Marxist socialist who are unable and unwilling to tell the truth. The Democrats have led us to a crisis where they will bring us to civil war and a purge of independent thinking white patriots. This is their intent and when they do it they will frame it as the right committing an insurrection against "democracy". The Democrat congress members are actively telling the left to bring violence to the street, to bring back the left wing glory days of the 2016-2020 riots and crimes. There is literally no one in the Democrat party who can lead them out of this suicidal agenda. Their most moderate spokesperson is ironically James Carville. Just try to imagine being so far to the left that James Carville becomes the center right spokesman for your party. LOL

In the early twentieth century, the Democratic Party was a coalition of labor, liberals, and southern segregationists. During that period, America, including Republicans, largely acquiesced to segregation and the oppression of Blacks. But contrary to your claim, some Democrats fought against segregation, even though it was politically costly, such as Truman who integrated the military, resulting in the southern Democrats forming the third party Dixiecrats. Not sure why you ignore this history.

Regardless, this doesn't mean the person who openly claimed to be racist should be given a sensitive government job.

If any of the government departments practice DEI they are practicing quota racism. Any teaching institution that practices DEI is practicing quota racism. Any part of the military, including its military academies that practice DEI are practicing quota racism. Any and all in these institutions that enable and/or practice DEI should be pushed out of the institutions that taxpayers are required to support either directly or through grants. Today's democratic/progressive/socialist party continues to practice systemic DEI racism. Get over your hollowed out virtue signaling.
