We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. "We didn’t expect Americans to celebrate when they did." As a Christian American I have been horrified to see many in this country turning against Israel and the Jews. WE have noticed the open anti semitism showing up, mainly on college campuses years ago. They say it is their right to protest against Israel and the Jews but causing so much damage and danger to the campus and threat to the Jewish students it needs to be stopped. Just like how they let Antifa and BLM riots go on with little to no punishment the country allows it to go on. And in the mean time the little old ladies are put in prison for praying outside abortion clinics. How is that crap equal.

Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, all of Islam understand propaganda. To them it is almost as important as killing jews and Christians or their pedophilia hobbies. They have effectively controlled the narrative about Israel and "Palestine". They have intentionally put children and civilians in harms way and fired off rockets from hospitals and day care centers exactly so that when Israel defends itself children and civilians are killed. This is a special kind of evil that makes Hitler, Mao and Stalin look good. But there are useful idiots in the MSM that regurgitate the propaganda and hide the truth. Imagine the stupidity, the evil of a Palestinian mother who wants her baby or child to be killed in war just so that they can propagandize American college students to protest against Israel. That is evil on a level we cannot comprehend. And yet that is exactly what Palestinians live and breathe for.

Lebanon by comparison is not as bad but understand this; Lebanon is today mostly Muslim. But 50-60 years ago it had a large Christian population. What happened? If you guessed that the Muslims killed them you would be right. This is what their religion/cult demands. They hate jews and they hate Christians. The Muslim cult is about 2 billion worldwide and their goal is to kill or convert all non-Muslims and to control the entire world. They are coming for Europe, Canada, Australia and, yes, for America. I see nothing that will stop them because the West has grown complacent and stupid.

We got a convoy!! Going to help the victims of the hurricane. No! Not FEMA. It's Walmart. They sent in dozens of 18 wheelers full of supplies to help the victims of the hurricane. FEMA on the other hand are still holding meetings on how to make sure that there is "equity" in the recovery effort! Equity!!!

Two different sheriffs have publicly stated that if FEMA or anyone else tries to stop volunteer relief efforts that they will arrest them. How the hell did we get to this? The ONLY action we have seen from FEMA is to try to stop volunteers from helping the victims. This stinks! This cannot simply be incompetence. What the hell is going on?

I passed that convoy on I-26 heading the opposite way. I counted about 50 walmart trucks being escorted by a mess of law enforcement. I broke down crying.

It's a zero sum game. You stop the shaming of stay-at-home moms by shaming women who put career ahead of family. It's not possible to hold both positions as societal norms. One is better and right, and one is worse and wrong.

The news used to be a prestige item in support of the network, and ran a huge loss. It was made a profit center in the 70s - it has to make its own profit - and the news found its audience with Jessica in the Well. 24/7 soap opera women turning in for weeks. It's only 40% of women but it's enough to pay the bills, and ever since they've been selling women's eyeballs to advertisers.

The only newer development is a right wing channel making fun of the latest thing that the left has said.

Everybody's after entertainment in one form of another though. There's no viable market for hard news.
