Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

'Trump Should Be Running Away with the Election. Why Isn’t He?'
Because there's tens of millions of voters who'll vote for his opponent just because she's not White and not male. Bloomberg: Why Is the Government Sending Illegal Aliens to Blue Jurisdictions, When It's the Red Jurisdictions Who So Dearly Need Their Diversity?
I used to work for one of Bloomberg's companies. A hive of extreme leftists pretending to report the news when they aren't busy trying to create it. Of course they think Red jurisdictions "need" to be invaded and burdened with "diverse" violent illegal criminals. They are waging war on mainstream America. Truly. The reason is simple; The blue states will register many illegals to vote thus swelling the voting rolls. Then they will dump hundreds of thousands of mail in ballots into the ballot boxes and there will be no way to know who voted only that there were enough registered voters. Later the replacement voters/citizens will be moved to middle class towns and counties to continue the extermination of patriotic Americans.
OneGuy: The blue states will register many illegals to vote thus swelling the voting rolls.
There is no evidence of that. OneGuy: Then they will dump hundreds of thousands of mail in ballots into the ballot boxes and there will be no way to know who voted only that there were enough registered voters. That is incorrect. Ballots are individually tracked, so there is a record of each voter who cast a ballot (though who that person voted for is not part of that record). There is also a USPS record of ballots that are mailed. Audits have shown no significant fraud. You can start here: Pennsylvania Full Voter Export "We can't afford four more years of this"... Minnesota Tim
"..no significant fraud" chirps the Quibble-DickZ.
Well, just a little insignificant fraud in the right districts can turn an entire state election. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/wisconsin-republican-demands-probe-after-madison-sends-over-2000-duplicate-absentee-ballots Would seem the easiest way to stop any shenanigans or fear-mongering about elections is to stop all the harvesting and mail-ins (unless you're in government service somewhere overseas) and go back to in-person. Make it an election weekend: 14 hours Saturday, 14 hours Sunday. If you can't make it then it's obviously not high on your priority list and you can always ignore someone's list of bullshit reasons for not being able to make it.
Hoss: Would seem the easiest way to stop any shenanigans or fear-mongering about elections is to stop all the harvesting and mail-ins (unless you're in government service somewhere overseas) and go back to in-person.
Fearmongers will fearmonger. It has nothing to do with evidence. (See Just Me's comment below, convinced that Harris can't possibly win without cheating.) Mail-in balloting is very useful for the infirm (e.g. Jimmy Carter) or many working people (e.g. a working mother holding two jobs and having to get home to her kids for dinner). Early voting is very popular, and there's no reason to believe it leads to fraud. However, you have a better argument with ballot harvesting, which should be tightly regulated to prevent tampering or undue influence. Quibble-DickZ will quibble.

The reasons Trump isn't doing well in the campaign are simple and straight forward. For starters, he won't distance himself from progressive rightists like Tucker, Loomer, Kirk, Fuentes, etc. They don't bring in any voters and they repel a lot of people. Anyone who thinks RFK Jr brings in more voters is an idiot.
Charlie Kirk is a huge part of why he's behind. Trump has assigned the ground work effort to him in many important states, and Kirk is screwing it up. Trump needs to stop with the silly rallies. Anyone who goes to these is already voting for him. They don't appeal to anyone who's vote is important. He should be laser focused on people who might not vote in a few counties in particular states. The election will be determined by less than 50K votes in a handful of counties. Trump is campaigning like it's a nationwide popularity contest. She's raising more money than he is and has more control over it. The Democrats have an on-the-ground campaign team in important states and can coordinate much better than the Trump team, and spend that money more easily and effectively. QUOTE: Stuart's Wednesday Potpourri . . . Second, Kamala Harris had a teleprompter for her interview with Oprah. That is incorrect as the placement of the teleprompter in the viral post should make clear. It's Oprah's teleprompter, not Kamala's. QUOTE: Third, yesterday Joe Biden came to my neighborhood to announce to the world that his administration had been a rousing success. All industrialized nations suffered turndowns and bottlenecks due to the pandemic, but the United States had the strongest recovery. QUOTE: Fourth, the current propaganda war against disinformation and misinformation is an invitation to tyranny. One person's propaganda is another person's information. Using speech to attack misinformation isn't tyranny. As for appeals to expert authority, they have some value, and expert authorities have the right to speak out, but it's important to remember that expert authority is fallible. QUOTE: Fifth, as for crime, it is obviously difficult to find accurate statistics. . . According to the NCVS, the urban violent-crime rate increased 40% from 2019 to 2023. NCVS: "There were 6.4 million violent victimizations of persons age 12 or older in the United States in 2023, which was not significantly different from the number in 2022 or 5 years ago in 2019." ...appeals to expert authorities. Joebama/Harris have no expert authorities, they have 'political' authorities only.
The political authorities are the reason we have runaway debt and runaway immigration and runaway wars. And here you are making an "appeal to authority." AI is little more than a cheap knockoff copy of the programmer.

I always find it funny when people sit at home on their Roomstogo recliners and give advice to someone who has already won 2 national elections on why he is not wiping the floor on the third. But alas, that is the internet.
Are you referring to Trump? What elections? He blew 2020 and almost everyone he endorsed in 2022 lost. It's an even tie right now and Harris has most of the advantages at this point.
He can win if he listens to the right people. So I'm a communist agitator because I voted for someone else in the GOP primary and I'm concerned that Trump is going to lose? Right.

It is obvious that the 2020 election was massively stolen. To say Trump lost is either terribly naive or terribly stupid, take your pick. Do you really believe that everyone running in 2022 that Trump endorsed lost? That is indeed what the MSM promoted and wants you to believe. Who would be a better candidate than Trump? Come on, don't just make vague claims, WHO?
Kamala Cannot win! She may get elected by fraud but she cannot possibly "win". It is unlikely that the deep state and foreign interlopers will allow Trump to win. The plan is to destroy the United States and dominate the world so Trump must lose and the communist puppets must win. This will be followed quickly by war to kill off as many American Patriots and free thinkers as possible. And a worldwide Holodomor to eliminate the rif raf. JustMe: It is obvious that the 2020 election was massively stolen.
The evidence is that Biden won sufficient state elections to result in an electoral college win. Saying "It is obvious" is not evidence to the contrary. JustMe: This will be followed quickly by war to kill off as many American Patriots and free thinkers as possible. Paranoid delusion isn't evidence either. A more likely scenario is that the United States might devolve further into a democratic autocratic oligarchy. Just Me: Kamala Cannot win! She may get elected by fraud but she cannot possibly "win".
Polls consistently show a tight race. Either Harris or Trump could win. As for 2020, consider the election in Georgia. Polls showed a tight race. The entire process was overseen by a Republican secretary of state and a Republican governor. After the votes were counted, there were allegations made that the machine counting was fraudulent somehow. An audit showed that the machine count was accurate. There were still loud voices claiming fraud in the machine count. So, Georgia hand counted each and every ballot. The hand count confirmed the machine count to high precision. Then the loud voices said signature matching was in error. So Georgia, under the oversight of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, audited signature matching, finding no evidence of fraud or error with signature matching. Meanwhile, Fox News and others were accused of libel by the company providing the machine counters. Fox News settled for nearly $800 million. Other suits are pending. That's called evidence. More on the sorry ass shape of the US military leadership and its civilian counterparts.
https://voxday.net/2024/09/25/fighting-without-fuel/ US Navy oiler USNS Big Horn ran aground yesterday, leaving the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Group without its primary fuel source. The Navy doesn't have a spare oiler to deploy and is now scrambling to find a commercial tanker. It has become a recurring theme in the United States Navy. There has to be something to it. :(
Neither of Kamala's parents were U.S. citizens when she was born. Legally she cannot be president. But in 2008 a precedent was created when Obama, born in Kenya and a citizen Indonesia, was elected. The U.S. has been stolen from U.S. citizens.
