We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. This remedial is new lipstick on an old pig.
25+ years ago there was a push for remedial math, English, and reading to "help" students succeed. What it really did was create a new bureaucracy to oversee the new professors hired to teach the remedial classes. Classic bloat. Some things never change.

In the last 100 + years we have seen numerous countries taken over by communists after which they killed millions of their citizens, all of those who objected. They all followed the same playbook to acquire power, achieve a majority and use the existing government agencies to execute the takeover; commonly referred to the communist playbook. We are seeing this exact playbook being used in European countries, in Canada, Australia and the U.S. This is no coincidence, this is planned. England, of all countries, is eagerly working to lead this implementation of the communist playbook. England emptied their prisons of criminals and rapists to make room for anyone who opposed their new far left government and they are putting people in jail for tweets and facebook posts. The West is creating the new Archipelago of gulags for patriots. Wake up and smell the commies! If you don't one day you will wake up in the gulag.

But first they had to steal power! THAT is the commonality.


It was supposed to be Hillary. The Clinton organization killed JFK Jr so she could become a Senator. Hillary was chosen/groomed by Obama to put here in place to win in 2016. The Democrats used extensive voter fraud in 2016 confident that they would win they failed to understand Trump's popularity and they lost. THAT was supposed to be Hillary's coronation. Biden in 2020 was a hail Mary BUT they had learned and massively stole the election (Biden would have lost by about 15 million votes). But they failed to put the same massive effort into stealing the down ballot races and failed to control congress. The Democrat/communist need to steal congress and the presidency and that is what the goal is for 2024. It will be difficult to pull off due to the messy and obvious steal of 2020 and THAT is why they had to attempt an assassination. They may try again if they have groomed a backup "lone wolf". Otherwise they must depend on lawfare and put Trump in jail. The big roadblock for that scheme is SCOTUS so they may try to assassinate one of the Supremes. They've done that before when they took out Scalia so they would do it again.

Is Biden alive and well? Sometimes Biden is 6'2" and sometimes he is just missing. Are they using a Biden double? Is Biden in a nursing home occasionally drugged up and trotted out to read a script? Will they declare him brain dead on Nov 6th if Trump wins so that Kamala can take power for the 3 months till inauguration so that she can irreparably destroy the country?

All of this is possible and likely and you are wondering where the violence is!

Is the pope gay? There is an unwritten rule that you cannot be a Cardinal unless you are gay so it follows that the pope is gay too. Most catholics who are paying attention know this and pretend not to know. It is also one of those things you aren't allowed to bring up in polite society. So why does it matter? Well , it matters because they aren't gay and church leaders by mere chance. They are gay activists who seek positions of power to advance their agenda. They have to do that "under the covers" so that everyone who knows it and pretends it isn't true can continue to make believe they don't know. But meanwhile the entire purpose of the church is perverted by this "hidden" agenda and making believe you don't know anything becomes more difficult.

In totally unrelated news Catholic charities have "lost" more than 65,000 immigrant minors who are believed to be involved in sex work. No one is interested in finding these little boys and girls and the church is silent on this. Hmmm!

Busses or not, it can't be a good sign for the Harris campaign that they feel compelled to have to campaign in New Hampshire in the first place, especially this close to the election. That state should already be a lock for the Dems.

In contrast, the decline in Sickle cell anemia in American backs as compared to Africans has changed by one order of magnitude over a 400 year period. This is the likely rate of genetic drift in humans.

A genetic cause for the increase in autism is simply impossible.

Also, it's become fashionable to be "on the scale". It has also become fashionable to call yourself an introvert. Also again, there has developed a blur between between an introvert and being "on the scale", in addition to a general misunderstanding of what an introvert actually is. The result is that people who are socially retarded but who could appear normal if they just applied themselves, instead find social sympathy and self-pity by being "on the scale."

It diminishes the seriousness of real mental illness and excuses people who are unwilling to adapt to society's demands. Everyone loses.

You can safely ignore that Spectator article about Netanyahu.
It completely omits the main points:

The overwhelming majority of the Israeli population understands that there must be no "day after" and they support war to eradicate Hamas.

Israelis also understand that key Hamas terrorists - including Sinwar himself - were included in the last, disastrous "at any costs" hostage deal.. and that deal was also foisted on the Israeli public by the same bleeding heart liberals... and then, as now, it was only because some of their own had finally been subjected to the terrorist consequences of Oslo - they were/are perfectly capable of ignoring the suffering of hundreds of "other" Israelis not in their elite tribe.

Israelis also understand that the remnants of this Left/Labor elite are so obsessed with clinging to power - and with Netanyahu - that they are willing to endanger the war effort to bring down the government.

The Speccie misses all this - all the unsavory motives of the Left are ignored. The article cites the general strike by organized labor as some sort of righteous crusade, when even our Left-leaning Supreme Court disqualified it as a blatantly political act and out of bounds according to labor law.

Illegal and legal immigrants get SS even if they didn't work enough to qualify. I know people who immigrated to this country at an old age, never worked and collect SS. After all you have to bribe Democrat voters with something to keep them voting Democrat.

In the last 3 1/2 years Biden allowed in 15 million illegals and now the Democrats are rushing to give them amnesty/citizenship so they can be replacement voters But if Kamala wins/steals she will let in another 15 million illegals.

The Democrats want to destroy SS. They want to make it a system that pays out based on need. If you have money and/or and income at 65 they will keep your SS and give it to someone who will vote Democrat. Screw your life long work and contributions to the SS system they want your money. Simple as that.
