Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

It's a better day to get in the water for some beach football.


Somebody walked away with mine in Cape Cod, but I have another. Beach footballs.

Well of course he is a communist dictator. Now compare that with Starmer's England. Starmer is doing the same things.

After spending months trying to coach, train, teach, Kamala to speak coherently in public her first news conference was a flop. Even the presence of her VP pick to deflect and defer was to no avail. Her performance was so poor that many on the left are trying to find some way to replace her even at this late date.
