Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

'Tokyo Government Dating App Helps Residents Get Laid To Avoid Population Collapse'
So they're admitting that their citizens are pawns and cogs? If only our government would be so honest. Instead of Ethical Suicide Parlors, Tokyo gives its people "ethical coitus parlous. Welcome to the new monkey house.
slavery reparations are nothing more than vote buying, but worse because they are using your money. Not too different from student loan "forgiveness". Both of these, as bad as they are, are not nearly as dangerous as the mass illegal immigration scheme to replace voters disappointed in the far left politics of the Democrat/communists. The neo-left worldwide are intentionally going down the road of a communist revolution in all Western countries. Europe, Canada and Australia are slightly ahead of the U.S. (thanks to Trump 2016) but the neo-left has doubled down and are om a path to pass the rest of the formally free world. You can point at a lot of causes and people responsible for this but the single biggest factor recently goes back to a fake birth certificate from Hawaii. Obama's minions run the Biden White House and Obama has always hated America, white people and Christians. You are the target. Middle class America are the new Kulaks.
'Palestinianism Began with Nazism And Today Is Based on Antisemitism, Sexism, Homophobia and Denial of Human Rights. So Why Is the Left So in Love with It?'
Because the perpetrators in those instances aren't White. From a post https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/06/10/rubio-and-the-64000-question/
"They crossed the Rubicon in 2020 with 51 high ranking Gov Intel members purposefully and specifically lying to the public. Does everyone realize the scale of that, and what it meant when they took that position on such an openly visible lie right to our faces, using our highest-ranking government intelligence members? They don’t exactly come back from that; it was an all-in position…. and they did it. What does that stuff in 2020 tell you about 2024?" Seriously; "Does everyone realize the scale of that"??? OneGuy: Does everyone realize the scale of that, and what it meant when they took that position on such an openly visible lie right to our faces, using our highest-ranking government intelligence members?
They weren't "ranking government intelligence members" but former officials acting in a private capacity. OneGuy: it was an all-in position That is also incorrect. They gave more than sufficient caveats: "We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement -- just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case." Of note: the New York Post had not provided data access to other media sources, and there were adulterated copies being circulated. No doubt you supported Bill Clinton on the meaning of 'is'. Those 51 individuals intended to mislead the American public and did so. And just as Santa Claus in 'Miracle on 34th Street' the US government has now verified what many of us knew 4 years ago - the laptop is Hunter's and the information the Post published genuine.
"former officials acting in a private capacity"
Yes! As Benidict Arnold traitors. They conspired to lie to the American pubic to help steal an election. Just imagine the damage they did to our country behind closed doors in their powerful positions. Each of them should have been hung in the public square and everything they had touched while in office should have been investigated. The lied, we knew they lied, they knew we knew that they lied and they did it anyway. Because they are THAT corrupt. They are traitors to our country, they were always traitors to our country and everyone who supports them or excuses them are also traitors to our country and deserve to hang beside them. Mis, dis, and mal information... election interference. Where is the grand jury and prosecutor?
John Fisher: No doubt you supported Bill Clinton on the meaning of 'is'.
Clinton tried to slide by on semantics. The judge was not amused. John Fisher: Those 51 individuals intended to mislead the American public and did so. Even if so, they were not "highest-ranking government intelligence members" as was claimed. They were speaking as private citizens. Was it political? Sure. OneGuy: Yes! Thank you for granting the point. As for lying, keep in mind that they didn't make any definitive claim about the laptop. OneGuy: They are traitors to our country, they were always traitors to our country and everyone who supports them or excuses them are also traitors to our country and deserve to hang beside them. Now you want to hang them and a large segment of the American people. As others have discovered, the problem is what to do with the millions of bodies. There were likely at least 51 MSM personnel that were calling it 'Russian' misinformation but that wasn't 'expert' enough. They had to round up some very well known IC 'expert' personnel, many of whom worked as TV IC 'experts' to really sell the misinformation before the election arrived. Mission accomplished. Bullshit disseminated and bullshit believed. Pedaling more Russia, Russia, Russia bs. Safe and effective.
Whoever they were they lied and the Quibble-DickZ perpetuated those lies.
Almost daily. Just STFU and go away. You're annoying the adults. While annoying to be sure, I also find Zach-GPT to be hilarious. It is the textbook example of a liberal 'thinker' that believes itself to be the smartest thing in the room. It actually thinks that its comments have any relevance here!
It's always good for a laugh!

Go with Occam's Razor. A group of people whose job involved using lies to manipulate people, includes lying to congress, the president and the judiciary to manipulate and avoid accountability shouldn't be treated as credible when making dubious assertions about a partisan issue.
Everyone of the 51 were either establishment figures or LWers who viewed Trump as a threat, so may, like you might, simply resort to delusion in response to cognitive dissonance. But the premise that the laptop was Russian disinformation was absurd on its face. First, because the well known character of Hunter Biden made it entirely plausible. Secondly, because there was never the slightest chance that the Russians were stupid enough to prefer Donald Trump as US president to a transparently cognitively diminished and corruptible Joe Biden. Or, for that matter, H. Clinton, which makes believing the Steel Dossier equally absurd from the get-go. The respective positions on petroleum product production and use by and in the USA of Trump versus Clinton and Biden by themselves would have been adequate for Russia to have a strong preference for Clinton and Biden. But back to the liars who signed the letter. Like you, they place no value on honesty. When you repeatedly insisted four years ago that Biden was not suffering from serious cognitive decline, you were either saying something you knew to be a lie or you are too stupid to be commenting on the issue. Likewise, these former intelligence officials were either lying or were so incompetent at basic factual analysis that they should have never been involved in working in the intelligence services. Major lithium discovery in fracking wastewater leaves the left facing EV 'irony'
QUOTE: A University of Pittsburgh study suggested processing byproducts from natural gas production in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale basin could potentially meet nearly half of U.S. lithium needs. https://www.yahoo.com/news/major-lithium-discovery-fracking-wastewater-080028818.html A university study whose results run counter to The Narrative? Imagine that. Spouse a geologist; think this has been known for some time.
re The Latest On The Federal War Against Internal Combustion Vehicles
Of course. One of the ways you move people to EVs it to make it impossible to build ICE cars. The goal isn't to move people to EVs. The goal is to eliminate personal transportation so we have to live in warrens and use public 'transportation'.
Yup, 15 min cities only need mass transit at the most. At the least, a bicycle. And a permit to leave the city... a kinder, gentler gulag with mandatory 'jabs'.
There is also this:
We're not buying what they are selling QUOTE: When I first read a couple of weeks ago that the average age of cars on the road had hit an all-time high of 12.6 years, I figured it was worth a brief mention on Instapundit. That's up from 11 years in 2014, and much of the increase has come since the government's COVID-19 disruptions, Bidenflation, and high interest rates. But according to a new Wall Street Journal report, the causes run much deeper than high prices. "Lately another, stranger element is showing up in the numbers," Dan Neil wrote, "a motivated belief among consumers that automakers’ latest and greatest offerings—whether powered by gasoline, batteries or a hybrid system—are inferior to the products they are replacing." Consumers' list of complaints, according to Neil, includes spyware, finicky stop/start cycling systems, craptaculent continuously variable transmissions (CVTs), cumbersome diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) systems, touch screens replacing convenient physical controls, complicated engines that require premium fuels, etc. . . . All this consumer doubt comes before Presidentish Joe Biden's remote kill-switch mandate comes into force in 2026. Once Americans realize that Washington holds the remote control to new cars, we'll start holding on to our old cars in the Cuban fashion — for as long as we can keep them running by whatever means are available. https://pjmedia.com/vodkapundit/2024/06/10/from-cars-to-star-wars-were-not-buying-what-theyre-selling-n4929746 And I thought it was only me who saw these "improvements" as handicaps. New National Poll Finds 62 Percent of Americans, Including Democrats, Support National Program to Deport ALL Illegal Aliens
A new CBS News/YouGov poll released on Sunday found that 62% of Americans support a national program to deport all of Joe Biden’s millions of illegal aliens.https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/06/new-national-poll-finds-62-percent-americans-including/ Caitlyn Clark is the Jackie Robinson of women's basketball. re Musk's Starfactory
A comparison of the innovation/productivity of Musk's SpaceX to Government run NASA is striking. It is a sterling example of what private ownership of an enterprise can do as opposed to a Government operated entity. re The astonishing number of fast food jobs lost.
Another typical government rule that helps a very few at the expense of a great many. Since this type of thing happens over and over, one would logically conclude that Government is incredibly ignorant and stupid. But it could also be that the people making rules like this are cynically exploiting the public's economic ignorance for political gain. Artificially high wages act like a brake on California's economy, but if they really want to wreck the state's economy in short order, all they need to do is enact price caps. Is California stupid enough to do this? Wait and see. AWESOME Hamas hostage rescue: Dramatic moment Israeli troops shoot their way into Gaza property
