Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Beauty contests are now nothing more than stages for virtue signaling. One wonders how their popularity is faring with their audience? 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Rules mRNA COVID-19 Jab is NOT a Vaccine Under Traditional Medical Definitions
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/06/breaking-9th-circuit-court-appeals-rules-mrna-covid/ QUOTE: 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Rules mRNA COVID-19 Jab is NOT a Vaccine Under Traditional Medical Definitions Appeals courts generally don't make findings of fact. The two Trump appointees on the panel (not the court as a whole) didn't make a finding of fact; but "At this stage, we must accept Plaintiffs’ allegations that the vaccine does not prevent the spread of COVID-19 as true," accepting the claim arguendo, the actual fact to be determined by the lower court at trial. The decision can be appealed to the full 9th Circuit Court. See Prunas et al., Vaccination with BNT162b2 reduces transmission of SARS-CoV-2 to household contacts, Science 2022: "Regardless of household size, parental vaccination substantially reduced the risk of children up to 12 years old becoming infected." QUOTE: Here is the new definition: Vaccine– “a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.” No vaccine is 100% effective at preventing disease or transmission. For instance, a single dose of the smallpox vaccine is only 78% effective, while two doses have an effectiveness of 95%. That means, even with two doses, one in twenty vaccinated persons can acquire and transmit smallpox. The difference is that with COVID, someone can be asymptomatic and still transmit the disease, though probably at lower rates of transmission. See Methi & Medslien, Lower transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 among asymptomatic cases, BMC Medicine 2022. re DOJ Indicts Doctor Who Exposed the Barbarism of “Gender-Affirming Care”
It will be interesting to see how this turns out. It looks like the defendant has stepped on some powerful toes. One wonders if suicide is in his future? feeblemind: It looks like the defendant has stepped on some powerful toes.
Have you considered the possibility that the grand jury found probable cause that Eithan Haim broke the law? Grand juries are presented with only one side of a case, so they are only being told what the prosecution wants them to hear.
Probable cause is a very low, one might say fluid, standard. Even so, given the crime wave we are experiencing and our plethora of immigration problems, a HIPAA violation seems like a frivolous thing for a federal prosecutor to get involved with. There is virtually no chance this is not being used as retaliation. ruralcounsel: Probable cause is a very low
Sure. Of course, that's how it works for every federal defendant. But that wasn't the question. The suggestion was that the indictment was political. We offered the alternative suggestion that the grand jury legitimately found probable cause. ruralcounsel: a HIPAA violation seems like a frivolous thing for a federal prosecutor to get involved with
rc: A speeding violation seems like a frivolous thing. Why don't you go catch a bank robber or something? And the ham sandwich is, once again, subjected to lawfare as the last refuge of the marxists who remain covered and protected... until they are not. See the Russia hoax and the covid hoax and the AGW hoax. Time removes the fog of the lawfare wars.
Traffic infractions? Seriously? You beclown yourself with that analogy. You are clearly not a serious person.
How many other HIPAA violations is the DOJ pursuing these days? Versus drug trafficking, sex trafficking, gang violence, vote fraud. Prioritizing is clearly not your strong suit. Let me give you a hint. There have been roughly 1700 criminal referrals for HIPAA violations since its inception. In this case, no individual's identifying information was released. Everything was anonymized or redacted. ruralcounsel: Traffic infractions?
That argument of yours was clearly not a serious argument. Try to imagine making it in court. ruralcounsel: There have been roughly 1700 criminal referrals for HIPAA violations since its inception. Well, there you are then. ruralcounsel: TIn this case, no individual's identifying information was released. Everything was anonymized or redacted. That's a more reasonable argument. However, the grand jury claims they found probable cause otherwise. To return to the original question: Have you considered the possibility that the grand jury found probable cause that Eithan Haim broke the law? From the City Journal article:
QUOTE: Three days after the announcement, a surgeon implanted a hormone device in a healthy 11-year-old girl for gender dysphoria. So, we have a child suffering distress, and the public is given the hospital, the procedure, the exact date of the procedure, and her age. It wouldn't be hard for people who know her to figure out what was going on. QUOTE: Merchan Warns Prosecutors, Trump Defense Team There Might Be a Problem in Manhattan Case Bird Dog: Probably fake news From the same account the next day: "Take it easy, I'm a professional s**tposter." It's creating quite the s**tstorm. Come on. Trump is going to win in commie Colorado, New Mexico and Minnesota! Throw in Oregon and Washington too. Please. Minnesota is the best state in the union at finding lost ballots. Yahoo News is showing Biden up by 1%. This after he pooped his pants at Normandy and plagiarized Reagan’s Point Du Hoc speech. They’ll count 91 million votes for Joe this year.
Here in a few weeks, after Hunter is found innocent of all charges, they will gaslight people into believing that the justice system is still holy. Then they will throw Trump in prison, at Rikers Island. How can he even campaign? Trump wins in a landslide, please. America needs four more years of Joe. Things are just dandy. Hennepin county, Minnesota (Minneapolis) is well noted for its car trunk voters. Chicago could take lessons.
QUOTE : "This guy is running it in the same sense that European monarchs who functioned marginally ran things. Which is to say that the aides and advisers run things and they occasionally turn to Biden to sign off on something, listen to the same story or joke they heard 5,000 times, and then do what they want to do anyway." I think this pretty much nails it. A new national stock exchange could be coming to Texas. Here's what we know.
If this thing flies, imagine what it might do to NYC. https://www.statesman.com/story/business/2024/06/06/investment-blackrock-citadel-new-national-stock-exchange-in-texas-dallas-finance-fortune-500/73989789007/ Hugh Hewitt wrote "If It's Not Close They Can't Cheat" 20 years ago. It's still good advice.
It wasn't close in 2020. The facts support the conclusion that the cheating was massive, possibly as many as 20 million fake and miscounted votes. An amazing thing happened early the next AM after the election; five states stopped the count at about the same time, 2 AM, and when the five states resumed the count at about the same time 4:30 AM the vote count had massively increased but only for Biden. Keep in mind that during that massive increase the count had been suspended and no actual votes were officially counted. Much of that was done by changing the numbers in the machines and the rest was done by fake counting while the offices were closed.
"The 2020 election was stolen, in some vague manner we've never quite been able to articulate, let alone prove!"
"Of course it was! But the boss spells it 'stollen.'" "Right! My mistake!" |
