Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

oh for cripes sake, what in life is not a disorder. People need to get over themselves. Youre gonna be dead soon, really really really soon. Wise up, stand up and move on with whats left.

A new site. That immediately looks the screen with a request to join. Another site to choose not to visit.

My other pet peeve is site that fill the top and bottom of the screen with adds and a small video running on the side and you clear them if you can and another one or two pop up. It's almost as though they don't want you to visit their site. Even cooking sites are so cluttered with ads it is literally impossible to read them. The DMV of the internet; make the experience so disagreeable that you will never come back.
