We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Perfect! Almost every link was essentially about the same thing; non-white or anti-white racism. It is and always has been very real and very dangerous. Now, the useful idiots are importing it into white or mostly white countries and cultures. Part, a very important part, of anti-white racism is the constant drumbeat that POC can't be racist and all whites are racist. It does not matter what you do or say as a white person you are guilty AND they are justified in their racism. Most people can see this and most people rationalize it. Like in that infamous Law and Order story where a white woman was brutally raped by a black "teen" and she refused to press charges because of her guilt and belief in white privilege. The end! But if they were honest that isn't the end. Of course if this had happened in real life the lack of consequences preordained that another white woman would be raped by this "teen", and another and another...

Racism is normal it is really tribalism and it is normal and even logical to put those in your tribe/family first over those not in your tribe. Racism based on skin color or culture is normal and something we should try to overcome and prevent for the sake of society. If instead we demonize one race/culture and make excuses and amnesties for another culture you will create a hellhole/shithole country. Just because it can be said that something is "normal" doesn't justify it or excuse it. It is normal to eat with your fingers, piss in your pants and take from others what you want. Society teaches us to shun those normal tendencies and punishes those who fail to learn. Useful idiots rationalize the problem and excuse bad behavior and believe this makes them a better more tolerant person. Sadly, it is normal for some people to be useful idiots.

You also know that the portion of the academy connected to the sociology department fits the description quite accurately. One scarcely finds the physics, engineering, or business departments engaged in the social justice utopias. Like most non-academics they have to live with the chaos. DEI is the arena for the non-diverse "studies" majors... no moderates accepted much less conservatives or Christians.
I am quite familiar with the academy of the late 60's, early 70's as I spent time there before and after a fun tour to RVN. Nothing has changed...same chanting and same arrogance. Nothing like young fools of that era leading the young fools of this era. And both absolutely sure they are foreign policy experts.

The city and county of LA, the state of California and the federal government are conducting a test of how they would deal with a nuclear detonation. Why? Seriously, why? What do they know that they aren't telling us? And why aren't they telling us? This isn't an isolated event, in fact the only thing unique about it seems to be that it became known to the public. In the last 2-3 years the U.S. has been doing similar things everywhere in our country and at overseas bases. They won't tell you this but our government is expecting nuclear war and/or nuclear terrorism and YOU are out of the loop. Maybe that's because there is no preparation for you, no protection for you, no place to go to avoid the fallout or other effects of a nuclear bomb. There is a place for the politicians in Washington to go and survive in the event of a nuclear war but nothing for you. And to add insult to injury the rather plush fallout shelters for our politicians are paid for with your tax dollars and constructed in total secrecy. YOU are supposed to "duck and cover" under a school desk but your congressman will be safely underground and eating foie gras. IF you fail to remember that when you vote in November please write it down somewhere so you can remember it when you see that bright flash of light on the horizon in the future as your congress keeps voting for money for the war in Eastern Europe.

One point about conquering versus coming at the truth, is that attempts to conquer tend to stop any future attempts at discussion.

I am reminded of an online discussion I had with a relative. He disagreed with a statement I made. At this point neither of us had provided links to data that would support our POVs. I refuted him with data from the Energy Information Administration website, with the link. (disagreement was about energy.) His reply was to snark with the "lies, damned lies, and statistic" quote attributed to Twain. He proceeded to escalate the argument into politics. I asked him to show that I was wrong. He did not reply.(He could have used the link to provide data to try to refute me....)

I concluded that the relative was more concerned with winning than with getting the facts right. Getting the facts right is close to "come at truth." Ditto win and "conquer."

One consequence is that I will not engage in further such discussions with my relative, as it would be a waste of my time. While he thought that winning was achieved by snarking and snarking, all he did was increase my contempt for Noo Yawk Libruls. Interesting that he used a lot of the argument methods that I saw with Chavistas.

The Georgia case against Trump was just blown up by a judge. The DA has to go back to step 1 and re-present the case to a grand jury with specific charges of crimes. The judge almost called this case a clusterfuck but managed to say it in lawyereze.

What is Anti-Semitism? The average person would most likely answer, “Well, it’s hatred of Jews.” But, if there is Anti- Semitism, then there must be Pro-Semitism. Right? So what is Pro-Semitism? Does that exist? Apparently not—according to Merriam-Webster. So what exactly is Semitism? What is a Semite? Is there a race of Semites? No there is not—according to Merriam-Webster. There is no race of people called Semites. The precise definition of the term—according to Merriam-Webster—is: “Semites are people who speak the Semite language.” So who speaks the Semite language? Arab, Palestinian, Hebrew, Mongolian, etc. Everyone from the Middle-Eastern part of the world speaks the Semite language. They are all Semites. There are approximately 30+ Semitic languages in the Middle-East. So if I’m called anti-semitic, does that mean that I hate anyone who speak a Semitic language? Do I hate the Assyrians of Iraq, northeastern Syrians, those of southeastern Turkey, and northwest Iranians, or those of the diaspora communities in Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and southern Russia who still speak Aramaic, the language of the Lord Jesus Himself? A rhetorical question, indeed.

So what is Anti-Semitism? Anti-Semitism is nothing more than a propaganda term created to confuse people. To create problems between one person against another. One nation against another. To create public unrest, disorder, and war. There is no such thing as a Semitic race, only Semitic languages. So there is no such thing as Anti-Semitism—unless one hates every person, who happens to speak a Semitic language in the whole Middle-East.

Most of us knew this was the inevitable outcome when The West pressured whites to turn the country over to blacks. All one had to do was look at the rest of black Africa to see where South Africa would be headed.

I don't know why Greenfield thought it might turn out differently. Indeed, he offers no alternative other than to wish, "It didn't have to be this way."
