If and when either China or Russia attack the U.S. with nuclear weapons it will be war. There will be no effort to not kill civilians in fact there will be intent to kill civilians. That is what "war" is. Conversely trying to win against an enemy that hides itself and their weapons amongst civilians while being hamstrung to not kill civilians isn't war, that is it isn't an attempt to win to end the hostilities. Israel should wage real war. It will be ugly, quick and decisive and most likely save more lives than the less productive current choice will.

My guess is that this situation will become worse before it gets better. That Iran and it's surrogates will attack Israel with zero regard for civilian deaths UNTIL Israel get's the message that THEY TOO must attack the enemy with zero regard for civilian deaths. Simple as that. AND because Israel won't do it until forced to many more Israelis will die and quite possibly many more Iranians too.

I would also guess that in the coming months the U.S. will do it's typical "show of force" in an attempt to damp down the hostilities and the Iranians or their proxies will get one or more of those ship killer missiles from China or Russia and use the against our carrier fleet with devastating effects. It may not happen... but just understand that if it does it was predictable and preventable. You don't put a carrier fleet in a small pond (Red Sea, Persian Gulf) exactly because they are such an easy target in those conditions. So "IF" it happens just know that your military and civilian leaders were fools or worse.

Every war the U.S. was involved in since WW II has been fought to lose. Or you could even truthfully say has been fought to kill the maximum number of American soldiers. Everyone of those 55,000 soldier killed in Vietnam and the uncounted hundreds of thousands injured was intentional by our leaders exactly because our political and military leaders weren't fighting to win. We won't fight to win in the Middle East either and if we get involved our sailors and soldiers will die for nothing! And THAT is exactly where we are headed.

That is exactly how most people felt on Dec 6th 1941.
