Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

re ALAN DERSHOWITZ slams Georgia judge for letting DA Fani Willis continue her war on Trump
I have read where the judge donated money to Willis' campaign. One can conclude that he wants Trump persecuted as badly as any other hard core lefty. It was a cowardly act by McAfee. I expected it and told everyone who'd listen that Fani wasn't going anywhere but it was still a bit shocking to see it happen. Being as generous as I can, I truly believe McAfee's life would been in danger if he'd removed the twit.
It's a sad day for the country. "A republic, if you can keep it." Sorry Mr. Franklin. We couldn't. You do have to admire his lovely turn of phrase, though. "An odor of mendacity" is right pretty way of saying the whole thing smells of BS. Stay out of Fulton County--the prosecutors there can lie in court and get away with it. I truly believe McAfee's life would been in danger if he'd removed the twit.
I hadn't considered the possibility, SK, but based on what a friend in Georgia said, who worked on the recount challenges, perhaps I should have thought of it. Still, he doesn't earn any sympathy points if that is the case. That sort of thing comes with the territory of being a judge, does it not? Might have made him a lot of enemies in his social circle as well. Lefties don't want to be cast out of the hive. "Still, he doesn't earn any sympathy points if that is the case. That sort of thing comes with the territory of being a judge, does it not?"
Agreed. Many men--and women--have given all to defend the principles he flagrantly disregarded in his ruling. "Might have made him a lot of enemies in his social circle as well. Lefties don't want to be cast out of the hive." As soon as he's fully vested in his retirement plan he'll more than likely hop on the moving sidewalk of apparatchiks to big tech, social media, or MSNBC, joining the flood of FBI/DOJ, CIA, State Dept, etc. creeps doing the same. Or advising the CCP. My friend went on to say, (the opinions are his):
GA is like a third world Republic. There are all kinds of murky things going on. I read a comment once by our Congressman, Buddy Carter, that our Governor made a deal with Stacy Abrams that if he ensured that the Democrats took both Senatorial seats, she would drop her election fraud challenge. That comment has vanished from cyberspace. Kemp won by a cat's whisker the first time, after having purchased the Dominion Machines as SOS, afterwards meeting with the Chinese consulate in Houston which Trump had closed as a "nest of spies". Stacy went away after becoming very rich in the last election cycle. VoterGA has proven that the Dominion Machines are not secure and can be manipulated from the outside. Our SOS Raffensberger said that will be addressed after the next election. My brother, an IT expert, says it's a weekend fix. Trump will probably lose here despite being extremely popular. All of Trump's candidates were defeated in the last primary election. Every last one. Kemp goes to the WEF every year. The only Republican and governor to do so. And then there's the mysterious explosion of his daughter's boyfriend's car. The GBI agent investigating it "committed suicide". We live in Putin's Russia. Run by, not even RINOs, but an unholy cabal of evil men. Georgia is still very much a Red State, except for Fulton County, which seems to make all of the decisions about everything. Heaven only knows what is really going on here.

'Middle-class LA mom-of-two reveals what it's REALLY like living with personality disorder - including 'feeling nothing' when others are in pain'
There's a running joke: 25% of women are suffering from some sort of mental disorder; the other 75% haven't been diagnosed yet. 'Chicago: Migrant Evictions Will Begin Sunday'
We'll believe it when we see it. "Democrats are hemorrhaging support with voters of color"
I predict that sometime closer to the election, perhaps July or August, that some "thug/teen" will get killed/injured by police while committing a violent felony. The Democrats/Soros/Obama, will pay/bribe their "brown shirts" BLM and Antifa to riot, burn and mayhem the city. The compliant left wing MSM will go 24/7 on this poor POC who was "brutally" beaten/shot/strangled by the "white" cops is just another example of the systemic racism in America. The will give the puppet/Biden Amphetamines so he can go on TV and drum up hate. With any luck one of the many FBI entrapment plots will bloom at the right time to involve/tie/fake MAGA racism/white supremacy/hate speech in the hot mess to try to bring the POC back into the Democrat fold/plantation. We will see all the Democrats in congress kneel while wearing African Kente cloth to honor the dead "criminal/rapist/thug" and we will be required to all give 5 minutes of silence and atone for being born white. Stir up the POC, divide the country, rinse. repeat endlessly until Nov 5th. A Night at the Canterbury
The post-Christian West is descending into relativism and, ultimately, nihilism. https://americanmind.org/salvo/a-night-at-the-canterbury/ "Christian based organizations make up some of the largest charities in the world". Indeed, however many of them aim their charitable values at subjects that conflict with Christian doctrine. Most fall into 'lukewarm' virtue signaling. There are those who risk punishment for manning Planned Parenthood clinic protest venues or even attend a march for life event. There are many clergy who avoid those events to appear neutral. Christian life does not endorse neutral or lukewarm. But here we are. When did you hear of the last "shotgun wedding"? Most have no idea what that even means anymore. There is little to no social stigma to out of wedlock births... just hit the welfare office. LGBYQWXYZ is just another victimhood minority needing 'support' from the post-post Christian world political structure.
Many of the Christian charities are excellent examples of what some call Conquest's Second Law while others call it O'Sullivan's First Law, that every organisation that is not explicitly right-wing eventually becomes left wing: The Episcopal Church. Habitat for Humanity.
If you are not familiar with the acronym "MDR" you need to learn it now. It stands for "multi-drug resistant". If you have children in school or whose work environment may include the "newcomers" or perhaps you yourself may encounter the Biden illegals. That acronym may become important to you. Our new neighbors are bringing MDR TB, and other drug resistant diseases to America. Of course they are also bringing many other diseases we don't normally have to deal with that may come home with you too. There will be a delay of both the transmission of these diseases and the reporting of the increase of these diseases to make sure that you are blindsided. Expect your favorite restaurant to hire the newcomers and expect the entire food chain to be manned by them as well. In the future, after most of the politicians who brought this treasonous disaster to you have left office, you will get to enjoy the deadly and crippling illnesses that they blessed you with just so they could remain in power.
Democrats Control 18 States With Just a Single County in Each - Inside the Impact of Urban Election Rigging
QUOTE: It is clear that election riggers have turned manipulation into a science. I have repeatedly demonstrated that the major democrat centers were massively inflated in key states, while the massively “red” Republican areas were artificially shaved to generate smaller Trump margins. https://skeshel.substack.com/p/democrats-control-18-states-with-592?r=7ni7j&utm_medium=ios&fbclid=IwAR1-zBxMbH9I_HMpxiGbFkvyzGyX6Nn7xQM2JmjE5LC492MzSFQ4t1PKDcc&triedRedirect=true Macron Again Talks Up NATO Troops For Ukraine: 'We Cannot Allow Russia To Win'
I eagerly await the reports of French troops on the Ukrainian front lines. BTW In July 1966 France formally withdrew from the military command structure of NATO and required NATO forces and headquarters to leave French soil. I don't see that Macron has any authority over NATO. Please remind the Russian nuclear-targeting folks where the major French cities are, and that we in the US have nothing to do with them. I don't think Patrice Gagne is a sociopath. I think she has autism and misinterprets here symptoms. I have known plenty in both categories in my 40+ year career, and she seems more ASD than APD.
As for anything creating memory improvement I always want to see something that holds up under multiple studies and under much scrutiny. I await replication, not meta-analysis. There have just been too many claims that have fallen apart pretty quickly. It's one of those things that people want so much to be true that they grasp at things like Lumosity, doing crosswords, learning folk dance or a musical instrument, or other "fixes." None have held up. You can try any of 'em that suits your fancy. I don't think that any hurt. But don't spend your money on them. |
