We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

The left has no intent of allowing the election to take place peacefully. This Summer will be another Summer of Antifa and BLM riots, cities burning, fire bombing police cars and lawfare against the MAGA voters. They will burn it down before they will let Trump win. No one can predict what they might do but I believe it is their intent to take Trump out one way or another before Nov 5th. I think that they are so crazy that they would even incite a nuclear war to prevent the right from winning elections.

The Ukrainian casualties from the Russian invasion is huge. Yet, not as huge as the American casualties from the invasion on our Southern border. The drugs, criminals, gangs, rapists and drunks from the invasion on our Southern border kill over 100,000 Americans every year. What is the Democrat response? Facilitate the invasion on our borders and send billions to Ukraine. Imagine if we had used those billions to protect our borders and deport illegal invaders. We could have saved hundreds of thousand of American lives. Biden has one more year left in office and in that year HE will kill 100,000 more Americans.

Europe has done a pretty good job on its own, turning itself into a hell scape. Unlimited, ungrateful immigrants who act more like an invading force, tends to do that. Coupled with their unlimited willingness to implement socialism, and the green energy debacle, well, good luck. Trump didn’t cause any of that. Trump did asked them to pay their fair share of the NATO defense budget. Pay our fair share is beyond the pale to a socialist.

Obama/Holder weaponized the patriot act to spy on and censor the opposition. At least 51 intelligence agents complied with the order and the MSM aided and abetted. None of them show the least amount of shame for their conspiracy.

I dunno, Rebecca.

If she is raped by an angry African-American or an illegal immigrant, I would speculate she would do her utmost to rationalize the attack.

While I think the assault would emotionally scar her for life, she may indeed decide the attack was "just".

At least this has been a pattern of progressive women who have been raped in the past.

I believe that 95% of these people are innocent of any crime at all. I also believe that the Democrats in congress, justice department, prosecutors, judges AND the juries know this and convicted them anyway because they were MAGA. I see no difference between what the Democrats have done with the J6 hostages and what Russia did with dissenters that they put in the Gulag. Zero difference. The Democrats, prosecutors, judges and juries are socialist/communist bastards and deserve to rot in hell. I hope that some justice is finally given to those innocent J6 demonstrators who broke no laws but were persecuted because of their political beliefs.

The national guard are not guarding the subway to prevent crime our make NYCity residents safer. Rudy Guliani proved beyond doubt that the NYCity police could make all of NYCity safe. It is literally that simple; return to Rudy's policies and restore the NYCity police department to it's former glory and NYCity would be the safest large city in the world. Noooo!!! The guard is there, along with bag checking to bring tyranny to NYCity. How long will it be before there are TSA checkpoints where granny will get felt up and paraplegics will have to have their prosthesis removed and examined BUT you can't bother the POC because that would be racist. You laugh! But don't you get it? The joke is on you.

I get Nellie Bowles in free press is maybe being snarky, but greatly under-states the severity og bi.gov spying snd censoring one-half of America. Her sister has a clue, but as ex-NYT I think their cognitive dissonance still keeps their heads up where Democracy Dies in Darkness, tbh.
