Maggie's Farm

I got my Bachelors at a college which required 3 semesters of religious classes. I thought for sure I would hate it. But, the teacher was a Dr. whose hobby was archeology and specifically Middle East Archeology. So it was religion light. He spent 3 months a year in the ME except during the 1967 war and he had stories and pictures and artifacts you would not believe. Just one example: He walked through Hezekiah’s Tunnel from the spring to the well inside the walls of Jerusalem. He took pictures of course and the story was incredible. He did this in the late 50's and not too long after that they closed it off. Surprisingly he did actually talk about religion but thankfully most of his teaching was far more interesting.
