Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Emerging research is challenging the belief that new cases of the condition will rise exponentially as people live longer — with evidence that the absolute risk is lower than it was a generation ago. Article gives the wrong impression. Vascular dementia numbers may go down for age - which is good - but not Alzheimers and similar. Wind energy was never sustainable. These machines are incredibly expensive and don't even come close to generating enough electricity to pay for themselves. Over their lifetime they generate between 10%-50% of the energy and costs to build and maintain them. If we depended on wind energy alone we would all be living in caves huddled around a fire within two years. Wind energy was always a scam. When it is finally audited/investigated you will find kickbacks and brother-in-law contracts everywhere. It is a crooked politicians wet dream.
When are they going to mandate bird blender reclamation? Why are they allowed to just pile up the blades? If coal companies have to reclaim land then the blender community needs to reclaim the land and recycle the blades. Now all they do is claim taxpayer credits.
"Indigenous Translations Will Be Added to Street Signs Around Cambridge"
For a moment I was confused. "Indigenous"? Do they mean the local English dialect in Cambridge? Old English? Brythonic? Then I realized. Oh yeah, the Cambridge in Massachusetts not the one in Cambridgeshire. re sign installation
A useless accomplishment by small people with ideologically stunted brains. It's all so they can feel good about themselves because they are incapable of solving real problems. re sign installation
Well, it was either that or giving back the stolen land, so... You'd think Jen Sucky would have more of an issue with a Koran-believing Muslim, but then Muslims are largely non-White, so free pass.
Drug agents searching passengers for cash at airport gates
Agents search carry-on bags without getting warrants and seize money without making arrests https://www.nbc12.com/2023/10/30/plane-sight-drug-agents-searching-passengers-cash-airport-gates/ At last, a good use of counterfeit money. Too bad you can't be a fly on the wall when some light-fingered TSA mook tries passing it.
L.E. agents are not much different than the intercity 'grab and go' agents. They just operate with no upper limit of what they can grab. But really, no warrant? They've become government licensed land privateers.
Just the continuation of the progressive/socialists march through the institutions? Ban the institutions.
From the article about wind energy subsidies: “energy developers blame Russia’s invasion of Ukraine for causing the inflation that plagues the industry by driving up demand for renewable energy…”
Hmmm, I thought demand for a product was a good thing. If I had a product that had a huge demand, I would be pretty happy. I guess weird things happen when the demand is artificially inflated by government picking winners and losers. More socialism failure. Speaking of socialism, the contemptible philosophy of the always lazy Marx, Jen Psaki says the new speaker is horrifying. He’s a Bible believing Christian. He gets his world views from the Bible! I don’t know Ms. Psaki’s religious beliefs, I did find that she is a graduate of William and Mary. From Wikipedia: “The college (William and Mary) was founded on February 8, 1693, under a royal charter to "make, found and establish a certain Place of Universal Study, a perpetual College of Divinity, Philosophy, Languages, and other good arts and sciences ... to be supported and maintained, in all time coming." I’m thinking that divinity, is of the Christian tradition. William and Mary has quite the collection of Founders, signers of the Declaration of Independence, Supreme Court Justices and so forth. America, and the Western world, was built upon those damndable Biblical values. I am pretty much certain that W & M gave up on those values quite some time ago. The search results for JenPsaki and the latest on Israel, is a bit muddled. I don’t want to listen to her podcast to find what she has to say. She’s not that interesting. Not being able to find a pull quote of her condemning Hamas, is telling. Don’t you think? "She's not that interesting. Not being able to find a pull quote of her condemning Hamas, is telling. Don't you think?"
I agree. But then, press secretaries aren't really meant to be interesting in their own right and Psaki is largely forgettable like so many others. For what it's worth, only Pierre Salinger really ever struck me as an interesting individual in and of himself. On Hamas, even Hillary Clinton wasted no time coming out and making it quite clear what they are. Jen Psaki and her hammer and sickle ushanka!
The Long March comrades have arrived at Bolshevik Revolution 2.0 station and Wall Street funds this one as well. Too bad voting and happytalk won't save us. External commies love useful idiot LARP comrades, until they decide it is time to meet the mobile execution van or egalitarian equality of results for all firing squad wall. These things happen when you don't RTWT in the history books or think it's gonna work this time on some delusional "lightbringer" horse hockey. Fundamental Transformation? I'll have to pass on that, comrade. Regarding the dementia, read that increased internet use is helpful, nothing like a digital Alexandria Archive at your fingertips. nothing like a digital Alexandria Archive at your fingertips.

THAT may be the most important thing anyone has said in decades. Wake up America you are being scammed, replaced, voted out and disarmed. You do know what comes next don't you? Think; "never again" coming soon to a city/country near you. Only this time it will be the Christians of European descent. Your mistake is thinking there is still time. Just vote in some more Rinos and surely they will fix this mess. Watch and see. Anyone want to bet? I will give odds that after the next president and the next congress is seated someone in congress will bring up for a vote to identify and deport those who Biden let in. 4:1 odds it will dies in committee. 2:1 odds that if it gets voted on it will be voted down by a wide margin with at least 25% of Republicans voting against it. They are here and they will stay and as soon as the Democrats can push them through to citizenship each and every one of them can bring in as many relatives as they want. Let's see... 15 million illegals become citizens and each and everyone of them brings in a dozen family members and that will be 180 million replacement voters ALL in need of welfare and housing. Is this a great country or what. And on top of that I offer 2:1 odds that we bring in at least 50,000 Palestinian "refugees" and they too will be citizens before you can say "Allah Akbar" and they will bring in all their Hamas relatives. Do yourself a favor and look up what the Muslims call "the Sunday people" and what they have planned for them. If Iran chairing the UN Human Rights Commission is not a sign that the civilized world should be exiting the UN forthwith, I don't know what is.
It's UN Human Rights Commission. It's the Social Forum of the Human Rights Council.
It's still a travesty but not as bad as it could be. Re: Wind companies losing billions
Wind turbine projects are starting to go unbuilt because the wind turbine companies cannot supply power at the (inflated) cost spelled out in the contracts. The climate alarmists are shooting themselves in the foot. If they had developed a demonstration project in a single state or county or even a city that showed how practical and inexpensive "renewable" energy is (like they say it would be), there would be demand from everyone for it but there is no effort to do that. Rather "renewable" energy are being shoved down our throats regardless of the price or whether it works at all. It isn't about energy, it certainly isn't about the environment, it isn't about the climate. It's about power - taking yours away. The largest EV charging station in the world was just completed in California. It's like a whole parking lot for charging EV's. And right beside it is the diesel generators to power it.
Why, you ask, would California build the largest EV charging center in the world and not power it by wind or solar or at least connect it to the grid? Seriously that is so embarrassing that right before god and everyone they installed diesel generators. How stupid is that. But the answer is so simple and obvious. Because California has been shutting down power plants an destroying their electric infrastructure it was impossible to power this charging station from the existing grid. THAT my friends is the definition of failure. |
