How do you take on a country where most of the people live in the middle class, have good educations, and Christian morals and beliefs and constitutional rights to include the right to own guns. Seriously, if you want to move to a Marxist/communist government all of these things work against you. You must first destroy the society and dilute it, dumb it down, divide it and use their own legal system to remove their civil rights. THAT is Soros aim and he is very successful. The real question is why is the president meeting with Soros secretly?

A slip of the tongue. A congressman was debating an amendment on the floor of the House. Another congress person, a black woman, got up and objected because it would negatively affect people of color. In the heat of the debate the congressman replied that there was no intention of negatively impacting colored people... The congresswoman accused him of making a racist remark and wanted the words stricken from the congressional record. Race card played; checkmate. But if a person is "a person of color" aren't they then by definition a "colored person"?

The debt cannot be paid off and will never be paid off. What will happen is we will pay Trillion dollar payments each year until the entire house of cards collapses down the road. That is every year congress will tax you a trillion dollars or more that won't go for defense or highways or anything taxes should be spent on but simply to kick that debt can down the road until we run out of road. It will be an oppressive and growing burden on taxpayers while at the same time limiting what we spend to keep us all safe. It is a terrible and perhaps fatal mistake.

What we the people need is a more responsible congress. A requirement that the budget is balanced. Transparency on spending bills not only for congress but for the citizens to see and understand where the money is going. No more last minute votes on enormous omnibus bills but instead a specific process that takes place over months with separate votes for separate spending bills and no unrelated amendments or non-related wording stuck in.

THEN comes the most important part. After a process is defined and agreed on that will lead to balanced budgets and transparency we need to "write off" the debt. There are a few ways to do it that end it cleanly. For example create 30+ Platinum trillion dollar coins (this part is symbolic) and just pay off the debt (i.e. printing press money). A once and done choice that pays it off and it's over. Yes there would be some inflation, some negative impact too, but none of that would be worse than 10-20-30 years of trillion to multi-trillion dollar debt payments and the inevitable collapse of the dollar.
