We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

They set out to do well and did very well indeed. (h/t-Savage)
The natural numbers are countable. The rational numbers are countable. But the real numbers are not countable.
The continuum, such as the points on a line segment, are uncountable. However, there is a one-to-one mapping between the points of a line or plane segment and of infinite space. That means you may contemplate the universe in a lotus blossom. Furthermore, a countable explanation can't completely apprehend something which constitutes a continuum. For example, the law, a system of discrete rules, can't encompass all human behavior. There will always be exceptions; that is, unless the countable rules include terms of the continuum; such as reasonable, probable, impartial, excessive.
