We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
The Lake of the Ozarks area has acres of water and a myriad of pools that utilize about every water toy there is in existence. It is a zoo in the summer, especially on weekends and continuous events on the water and in the streets. A good time for us "aged" to venture out carefully. It is also a bikers playground.
We had to use small mats at the water park as youngsters but some still got bruised by the fiberglass slide.
We figured out how to control the idle on the go-karts to increase speed.
Good times and the parents got a break for a day.
Family Fun Time Park
Sweet! But at $260 a pop for the smallest one, this seems like a pretty pricey pool toy. I'll wait for the knock-offs to hit the shelves.
