I like Dunkin Doughnuts coffee. When we travel and find a Dunkins I always stop for coffee and a apple fritter. I can't drink Starbucks. I have had it in the past and the only way I can drink it is to dump half of it out and top it off with hot water. The beans are burned not roasted.

In my county, in 2022, both the Democrats and Republicans turned out 60% of their registered voters. The unaffiliated liberals also turned out at 60%. The conservative unaffiliated turned out at 55% and are the largest group numerically.

Locally then, the red wave failed because independent conservative voters stayed home.

The red wave failed because vote by mail allowed massive voter fraud. Simple as that. That is the purpose of vote by mail. To allow corrupt parties to use names from the voter roles and send mass mailings of ballots in to be counted. It was massively used to steal the election from Americans in 2020.

I would argue that the red wave failed because over the last 50-60 years, the left has infiltrated and subverted the education system - both public and (to a great extent) public - in the USA. They control almost all of the teachers colleges and humanities departments where leftist indoctrination is the goal. They are backed up by a leftist media. Inherent in this indoctrination includes the idea that the ends justify the means.

We used to drive through Connecticut for business every so often. In Southbury, I think, on one end of the strip mall was a Dunkin Donut shop and on the other end was a family bakery with the most wonderful European baked good we had ever eaten. The lines were always long to get into Dunkin Donuts but never a line at the family bakery. We would fill up a shopping bag with their items and eat for days at very affordable prices. Don't know if they are still there, I hope so. So many treats we could never find any where else in our travels for business.

Whether the 19th was a mistake or not, is debatable. What is not debatable is the fact that women voting would make the world a much better place. It certainly has become mor insane since the 19th was enacted.

The biggest amendment mistake was the 16th. It created the big behemoth federal government. It formed into the American conscious the idea that all your property belongs to the State. The State is only allowing you to borrow it. It legalized theft.

The federal government certainly has grown in size. However, it does much more than it did, such as providing a basic pension and standard medical care for seniors, making for a mixed economy. Keep in mind that the most successful economies are mixed economies. Nearly all developed economies also provide some form of universal healthcare insurance.

You seem to have missed the point about extending suffrage to women.

It has nothing to do with whether they would somehow "make the world a better place" but rather with the fact that all citizens should have the right to vote. Period.

I seriously doubt that women make "better" or "worse" voters than men.

IMHO women decide things with their hearts not their minds (except for abortion apparently). Women lack a very significant life experience that most men get before reaching voting age and that is a punch in the nose (an over simplification of the entire issue of real world physical harm). The reason we as humans don't squat in the dust with a spear or bow and arrow to protect ourselves and our family is because we men have learned the lesson of physical harm that is always present and only held at bay by an equally present threat of retaliation. Women spend their entire life protected and many are even oblivious of this fact. They do not have the FAFO (fuck around and find out) degree that most men acquire before age 18 or so. They actually think the world is safe and we can give of ourselves to the shit hole countries and the shit hole people from those countries. They vote that sentiment and sooner or later that immutable law of nature; FAFO will come home to roost and when it does every woman in the country will turn to her boyfriend/husband/father/brother and say "help!". And once again our finest young men will have to die on the battlefield to save the Pelosi's of the world who decided to FAFO on someone else's dime.

We need to enforce our existing laws on immigration. If you enter illegally you should be deported within 24 hours. Zero federal dollars for illegal immigrants. No housing, food, ride to the busses, health care nothing but ride to the border. Arrest and charge any person or group who aids illegal immigration inside or outside the U.S. Shut down the Mexican border completely so that not even a cockroach could get in. No commerce, no tourists, nothing!

In 2016 when Trump took office he had no idea that the entire political system and federal legal and court system was 100% corrupt. They quickly tied up his ability to do his job as president and he was not able to accomplish as much as he wanted to. If Trump were elected again he would fire everyone at the top within the first hour of his presidency and would appoint serious and strong leadership to the many bureaucracies to clean up the mess that corruption has made of our federal government. This is what we need, we cannot survive the corruption at the top. No other candidate will do this. Not DeSantis and certainly not Pence or anyone else. That's the truth, believe or don't it changes nothing.

Well, of course they did. It's all part of a pattern. If you're a lefty, you get a pass. That's why nothing happened to not only the Clintons but the guy who let them off Comey (not only did he close down investigations into the Clintons but he also approved of false statements on FISA applications to enable spying on the Trump campaign and who went on to make millions in a book deal largely on his prominent persecution of Trump), McCabe (who was fired for lying in an IG investigation and went on to be a CNN contributor because there aren't enough liars at CNN), Strzok (fired for blatant discrimination and admitted to being a part of a plan to kill Trump's political career and then went on to write a book and is now an adjunct professor at Georgetown University because his perspective is needed in the education of college students), and Clinesmith (altered evidence before a FISA court, was fired from the FBI and for his egregious malfeasance he was 12 months probation and eventually got his law license reinstated because when an officer of the court alters evidence that allows spying on Trump, it's just not that big of a deal).

This ain't your father's FBI. What would Efrem Zimbalist Jr. say?

More and more is coming out to show that the J 6th "riot" was a peaceful protest until the Capitol police fired into the crowd which caused some to react violently. We are now seeing that those convicted in the corrupt DC courts are being persecuted for political reasons. The story is falling apart. The left must cover this up before the 2024 election. I predict that Hollywood will make a movie about J 6th that will be a blatant attempt to prop up the lie and propaganda of the J 6th protest.

Ukraine was never in a position to win. It was always in a position to lose. Ukraine allowed itself to become a punching bag for the old cold war rivalry between the US and Russia. The US weaponized NATO and through multiple administrations the US kept moving a defensive NATO organization into a border threat to Russia. And not content to allow Russian and Ukrainian speakers to lead Ukraine, the US used the CIA and State dept (fuck the EU Nuland) to overthrow a legally elected Ukraine government and replace it with their own chosen candidate. The Ukraine is likely to disappear from history unless a considerably brighter US government exits the old NeoCon planners' solutions.

This Summer we will experience a resurgence of old diseases that we thought we cured or eliminated. Mostly in large cities and any city that absorbs 100's to 1000's of "immigrants". This isn't a surprise to government or anyone involved in this invasion it is a known risk they were will to put on you and your children. No one on the media has reported this, it is happening already but not a single news report of it. When it becomes to big to hide it will be reported on, of course, but without the context of where it came from. Biden did that!
