Maggie's Farm

We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Trump dominates the news, as always


Who wants to run for public office with this kind of lawfare going on? It is surreal.


Despite his personality flaws, the swarms of bees that have attacked him since he came down the escalator have been remarkable. He's a target because he has a personal magnetism - maybe like Teddy Roosevent. A magnificently independent SOB.


Politics can be a rough game. Revenge politics and about 2024. DeSantis is next.


Oh yeah, and Trump is a Russian spy.

I think that the Democrats are trying to institute a modern Reign of terror. It began in earnest with the J6 arrests and imprisonments. It continues now with Donald Trump. The similarities are surprising. I honestly expect Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton to be sitting in on Trumps trial knitting. But who is the modern version of Maximilien Robespierre? Is it Biden or Merrick Garland?
