Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

This totally explains the reason why Democrats want to flood America with illegal alien replacement voters.
I once saw a video of Biden explaining that his intention was to have unlimited immigration of "people of color" minorities to take over this country. He said the European whites would become the minority for perpetuity. He was smiling as he said it to the group and none of them responded as they should have by questioning his intensions. From now on out mostly Dem voters as they get free stuff. The video should be shown weekly to prove to the American public his intentions of changing the country forever. This isn't the one I originally viewed but similar.

Biden wasn't expressing intention but the expected trend. However, he didn't express fear of demographic change: He welcomed it. Fact is that most of the world isn't European, so an open society is going to more closely reflect global demographics over time. JC: From now on out mostly Dem voters as they get free stuff. Politics doesn't work that way. Most people have both conservative and liberal propensities, and the parties will tend to change, in fits and starts, to reflect those positions. For instance, there are many more conservative Blacks than Blacks who vote Republican. But the Republican Party has consistently alienated people of color. "he didn't express fear of demographic change: He welcomed it"
Yes because he has guards 24/7. "Fact is that most of the world isn't European" But most of the "safe" world is. "so an open society is going to more closely reflect global demographics over time." Why? Why do we need those demographics? We already have enough murderers rapists and welfare recipients. Why would any sane country choose to import more??? "But the Republican Party has consistently alienated people of color." Simply not true. That is the mantra that Democrats have to spout to keep the black folks on the Democrat plantation. We don't need immigrants. We didn't need them back in the 60's when Ted Kennedy began this process of the great replacement. We don't need them now. It makes no sense unless your goal is to destroy the country. OneGuy: But most of the "safe" world is.
The United States is sort of middling for homicides. Not as bad as Sudan or Peru, but worse than South Korea or Egypt. OneGuy: Why? Why do we need those demographics? Well, you don't have to have an open society. It happens to be good for business and culture, but who needs those? OneGuy: Simply not true {that Republicans have consistently alienated people of color} It's obviously true. Gee whiz, someone on a recent thread tried to blame the death of Tyre Nichols on single Black mothers, and the comment was defended by those of the Republican-leaning persuasion. You don't think that alienates single Black mothers and those who may love a single Black mother? "The United States is sort of middling for homicides."
Not when you only count the homicides committed by white people of European descent. We rate better than almost any other country. Kinda proves my point don'tcha think? "It happens to be good for business and culture" What business? Police and undertakers? What culture? Is there a culture that is better than that of white Europeans? "someone on a recent thread tried to blame the death of Tyre Nichols on single Black mothers" Are you blind? 90% of the murders are committed by the children of single black mothers while they are out trying to create another welfare dependent. "You don't think that alienates single Black mothers and those who may love a single Black mother?" I hope so!!! Maybe it alienates them enough that they begin to actually raise their kids correctly and try having children AFTER marriage and choose a father that they would actually like to spend the rest of their life with. Don't you see the terrible disservice and waste of human life to raise a child that way??? Why would anyone defend it? Yes it can happen by chance or without fault of the parent but that should be the exception not the "culture"!!! The Democrats seek to exploit the POC and could care less about then after the election. Republicans want to improve their lives; give them school choice, make the parents accountable for their children's actions in school, make the schools accountable to actually teach children, all children. Every black or hispanic child who drops out of school or who doesn't learn but is passed on to the next grade is a terrible failure and literally cannot be fixed after age 18. THAT is what poor parenting and kowtowing to teachers unions does to children, and THAT is what Democrats support. We should have a national effort to convert welfare moms to tiger moms. Show then how important it is to be involved in their children's learning and how important it is to support the school and teachers and not resist them. This isn't "just" a POC problem it is just much more common for POC families. Every child denied a decent education is a terrible waste and we shouldn't allow it. Where is Al Sharpton and other black activists on this? They only speak up if there is a chance to grift some money or denigrate white people. The POC need better community leaders and better culture.

White Americans have a homicide rate of about 2.2 per 100,000. That's not as bad as Ecuador or India, but worse than Japan or Morocco. Treated as a separate country, White America is still about middling. OneGuy: Is there a culture that is better than that of white Europeans? American culture, for instance, is not white European culture, but an amalgam of many different cultures. OneGuy: I hope so!!! You had denied that Republicans were alienating people of color. Here you revel in it.

“Most of the world isn’t European”
And how are they doing? Look around the world and you want to be in a place where white people are in charge, historically and presently. But hey, if turning brown means democrats get to assuage their white-guilt, by all means let’s gut the country. Wishing for an “open society” is on-par with saying you wish corporations had bigger DEI departments; it’s worthless virtue-signaling that adds nothing. So lame. Hoss: And how are they doing?
Much of Asia is economically prosperous. Some are modern liberal societies. Latin America has made great strides towards democracy, but still struggles with the war on drugs (the triangular trade of guns, drugs, and cash).

The weakness of Posobiec's map is that it colors states by majority, so a state with 51% red support and 80% red support are lumped together. Here's a more nuanced view:
Cartographic Views of the 2020 US Presidential Election It would be very interesting to see the maps if the "people of color" demographic were broken into its constituent parts.
Zachriel, it's good to see the county breakdown, but the demographic breakdown is quite interesting as well, I think. Thomas Doubting: Zachriel, it's good to see the county breakdown, but the demographic breakdown is quite interesting as well, I think.
All such maps, if accurate, are interesting. As they represent only a 'slice,' they will exhibit both strengths and weaknesses. In this case, it turns out, that the map in the original post is of the projected results from 2016—not 2020. The clue is that Iowa shows blue for both people of color and for whites (which presumably should be inclusive of all voters), but the red candidate won Iowa in 2020 (and 2016). The previous link has three maps of interest, the vote by population breakdown (not just blue and red, but shades of blue and red), state votes adjusted for population, and states adjusted for number of electoral votes. Unfortunately, it doesn't include demographic breakdowns. Keeping in mind that the map in the original post is of 2016 projections, it still provides an interesting view of demographics. Whites tend to vote red, while people of color tend to vote blue. Some of this is probably due to the urban-rural divide in American society, while some is probably due to white disaffection in reaction to social and demographic change. Sure, accuracy is important. Also, I just noticed the asterisk at the very bottom where he explains why he didn't break down the POC category.
I don't think it is obvious why any particular demographic votes the way it does. Urban-rural divide, for example, is usually just descriptive rather than explanatory. I think the whys of it all are interesting and, in what I've read at least, defy simple hypotheses. "so a state with 51% red support and 80% red support are lumped together."
51% and 80% both win elections. |
