We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Remember the J6 defendants this Christmas. Most of them were innocent of all crimes charged and were simply collateral damage is the effort to destroy Trump. Most of the damage to the building seems to have been committed by people in black block (Antifa and BLM) who were strangely never identified or arrested. Many of the more serious claims of conspiring to bomb or worse are totally made up by the FBI against people who were merely members of the wrong group. Many of these charges are the result of arresting and jailing a person for months and then after months of torture offering them a chance to get out if they will agree to lie about another member of the group. A tactic perfected by Stalin in post revolutionary Russia. When the truth finally comes out this will be the worst unconstitutional unjust purge in our own history committed for political purposes only. And the purge and persecution continues. I hope there is "justice" down the road for the politicians and prosecutors who have committed this crime against America.

Thanks for mentioning, it would take too long to be specific, use Duck Duck Go to find, they are all over the place. (Google probably blocks them)
PS The Walmart link works but wonder if he still thinks the Chinese slave labor place is still so wonderful.
PPS Thanks BD and everyone with Maggie's Farm for having such a wonderful site. Merry Christmas!

I cooked a prime rib for dinner last night. It was delicious. For lunch today we had prime rib sandwiches. I splurged and went and bought a hearty, crusty loaf of bread from the bakery to make the sandwich taste even better. Tonight simply roasted carrots and potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and a steak cut from the prime rib. As good as it is it is no where near as good as when first cooked to perfection. Tomorrow we go to my wife's aunts for dinner so no prime rib tomorrow. But I'm running out of ideas for leftovers. Of course I can just quick heat a steak from it. I can cut it up and make an excellent stew, I've done that before and it really is savory. I even cut small strips to put into a ramen, yes a doctored up ramen is good eats. Any ideas?
I have to confess I found a good price for prime rib and bought four 5+ pounders, a perfect size for the two of us. So I'll have plenty of opportunity to test out new ideas.
Also I am saving out the ribs and once I have all four I will roast them a little more and make a meaty broth with them. I don't get a lot of flavor or "body" from rib bones so I add a little Better Than Boullioun to it. I could just roast them and eat them, there is still a lot of meat on them after you cut them off the roast. Anyone have an great idea for the rib bones?
