Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

I always find peace at Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield.
I'm glad Milbank has a newfound appreciation for the countryside, but he's a tad late to the game. Aye, I think he expects the country plot to appear similar to the city lot. You have to like nature to appreciate the country and if not it is better to remain in the asphalt, concrete, and manicured lawn environment.
Maybe he just needs to get a few goats and sheep to git'r done.
There is a new Tiananmen tank man in China, it's a woman!
A buddy moved out to the boonies and it's a hard life as he calls it but still better than a buy more now be happy maze of strip mall, industrial park, subdivision sector. He spent all summer clearing trees before the CPUSA bans wood burning stoves in the spirit of egalitarian equity. The still quiet and no sirens or highway sounds isn't for everyone. QUOTE: ‘Living hell’ and the destruction of academic freedom QUOTE: Some 16,000 medical and public-health scientists (many of them highly credentialed), 47,000 medical practitioners and 871,000 “concerned citizens” signed on — making it plain that nothing resembling a scientific consensus endorsed the course much of the nation had taken. Many of the signatures were bogus. There was no attempt made to validate the signatories, so the numbers cited are meaningless. QUOTE: Dr. Anthony Fauci, with huge grant-making powers as boss of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, slammed the declaration as “nonsense” They advocated herd immunity before a vaccine was available. As it was, a million Americans died. QUOTE: Sweden, Finland and Norway, for example, rejected extended closures and saw notably less “excess mortality” than most other European nations. Finland and Norway instituted lockdowns during the pandemic. Sweden did not and had nearly twice the rate of death due to COVID. QUOTE: As Bhattacharya said at a talk this month, his life soon became “a living hell” — and his university, Stanford, failed to back him. He not only got death threats and hate mail, he also faced a “deeply hostile work environment,” making clear that “academic freedom is dead.” There's no excuse for threats, and they should be investigated by law enforcement. As for academic freedom, Bhattacharya retains his professorship, is free to publish, and can say any fool thing he wants. But that doesn't make him immune to criticism. Still spreading the "a million Americans died from covid " propaganda myth, Quibble-DickZ?
I get the feeling that they/them would be perfectly content with American Big Whites kicking some heads in.

Ah, no. Fauci came out a few days ago saying he was not a scientist but a bureaucrat.
indyjonesouthere: Fauci came out a few days ago saying he was not a scientist but a bureaucrat.
He did? Please provide a citation to a direct quote. (He's both a scientist and a bureaucrat, by the way.) https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2022/11/fauci-im-a-bureaucrat-not-a-scientist-php
As the lawsuits continue it is likely Fauci will retreat to being nothing more than a mid-level employee.

That's not a direct quote. Rather, it's a one-sided, partisan conclusion. It's echo chamber material: somebody said, now pass it along. Nor does the claim make any sense. Fauci is one of the most cited scientist in medical science. Have you even looked at his record of publication?

Here is a hint of what is coming Fauci's way and I would hope he gets prepared for a long legal battle during his retirement.
https://generaldispatch.whatfinger.com/dr-malone-reacts-to-release-of-more-fauci-emails-proving-collusion-to-cover-up-covid-19-origins-true-vaccine-effects/ It isn't just a legal battle in the US but a legal battle against Fauci on the world stage. He is done. When it is over he will identify as a virus on a table in prison and about to get the jab.

North Sentinel Island is the only place I know of that's still completely inhabited by it's original people. ACLU should go check it out.
You are on native land!
Yes but which natives. Those "natives " who "immigrated" here first? Or those "natives" who "immigrated here afterwards and killed off the "natives" who "immigrated " first? OR the Europeans who immigrated here exactly as the "natives" immigrated here. The answer to why they keep saying these things is simple; because they are racists who are opposing whites and people of European descent. They are the new KKK but call themselves the ACLU. OneGuy: Those "natives " who "immigrated" here first? Or those "natives" who "immigrated here afterwards and killed off the "natives" who "immigrated " first?
Modern genetic evidence indicates that there was an initial wave from Beringia into the Americas, the First Nations. A second wave populated the northern-most regions, the Paleo-Inuit. These two populations mixed to form the Dene which then spread south. Consequently, Native Americans, including the Dene, are descendants of the original inhabitants of the Americas. See Flegontov et al., Paleo-Eskimo genetic ancestry and the peopling of Chukotka and North America, Nature 2019. Interesting progression, truly. Given that it might be correct,
please identify the exact point after which all other history should disappear? Louis Miller: Interesting progression, truly. Given that it might be correct
Study of deep genetics is still in its infancy. While the general outline seems well-supported, many details are still obscure. Louis Miller: please identify the exact point after which all other history should disappear? History doesn't stop. The question concerned "native land." The fact is that aboriginal peoples were displaced by colonial Europeans. Even when the government tried to keep peace with Indians, greed would often propel conflict. The Enslaved Native Americans Who Made The Gold Rush Possible With the recent stories about stabbing murders you wonder where is the outcry to confiscate knives? If you exclude gang fighting knives are used in more murders than guns are. So why do politicians want unconstitutional gun control. Well of course because they want to do what despotic regimes do after they take away the citizens guns.
Cigarettes kill more people than guns but cigarettes are legal. Fentanyl kills more people than guns and there is zero interest by POTUS or congress in stopping Fentanyl. The administration would prefer to go after honest people than go after the criminals. Why? Read history to discover why. Polar vortex likely to come to Europe and the US in the second week of December.

No, China is in no danger of repeating those mistakes. All of this is intentional. A forensic audit of the accounts of politicians in these countries would expose graft and fraud. They were paid to destroy their country using the global warming scam and the pollution scam as the stalking horse. I fully understand someone, a politician or news reader doing this for money or other benefits. But what needs to be understood is that those behind this are not simply selling their soul for bucks they are conspiring and planning your countries downfall and your demise.
For those in charge, the politicians and dictators, this is a win/win. Because when it becomes a crisis and threatens countries with famine and war they will declare an emergency (sound familiar?) and give themselves power over you and your assets and freedoms. You could see this for yourself if you are not blinded by the gas lighting. Wake up before it's too late and take your country back. European citizens are slow learners, but it appears they are catching on to the political enfeeblement of the US and European leadership.
https://sonar21.com/europes-growing-anger-at-the-united-states-while-u-s-economy-is-flashing-red/ Those deep thinkers at CNN forget that Freedom of the Press clause follows immediately after the Freedom of Speech clause in the First Amendment. But then CNN has voluntarily given up their freedom of the press when they were subsumed in the Leftist demoncrat party.
QUOTE: CNN Calls Freedom of Speech 'Nonsense' This is a common error, to equate a guest with the network. In addition, the guest was referring to the argument that free speech protects the right of foreign governments to use social media to clandestinely interfere in the U.S. political process. JP Blickenstaff: Those deep thinkers at CNN forget that Freedom of the Press clause follows immediately after the Freedom of Speech clause in the First Amendment. But then CNN has voluntarily given up their freedom of the press when they were subsumed in the Leftist demoncrat party. No rights are without limits, including freedom of the press. Time spent with dogs ... they may stimulate the brain but best of all they exercise our bodies. They never seem to have a bad day and they know how to make our days much more fun. If only they lived longer... I miss every one that we have ever had over the years, and we currently have three that are born comedians.
indyjonesouthere: they may stimulate the brain but best of all they exercise our bodies.
To be healthy, a person should feed their mind, body, and soul. Dogs can help fill all three needs. |
