Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Again another stolen election https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2022/11/14/the-evidence-is-in-another-stolen-election/ and no outrage.
Maybe no outrage among those with a voice, maybe some are tired of the outrage and trying to figure out how to actually fix the situation when suing didn’t work the last time.
Here is a useful method to collapse the fake ballot scam....

QUOTE: The Modern Electioneering Process of “Ballot Submission Assistance” is Taking Center Stage Lots of allegations, but no actual facts. Can someone provide actual facts? You didn't read all of the feeblemind piece or you would have seen that paid ballot harvesters were caught but the FBI seemed uninterested in pursuing the payers. But you can keep pretending it didn't happen and you have no idea where all those ballots came from. It is a democratic party design feature to insure a steady flow of ballots to votes as needed.

Except no link or names or case was provided, so there is no way to check the context. It's probably in reference to the cases of Guillermina Fuentes and Alma Juarez. Juarez cooperated with the investigation. The evidence is that there were very few ballots involved. There was no evidence provided that they were part of a wider conspiracy or that they were paid for ballot harvesting. Nor does that mean the ballots weren't valid votes. Bwaha! Lolgfy!!!

Z: Lots of allegations, but no actual facts.
I guess the picture of somebody putting a bundle of votes into a dropbox is really a picture of them putting a stack of Christmas cards in the dropbox. Or maybe it is just before he realized that they weren't supposed to put more than one vote in the dropbox at a time and that person didn't actually put them in the dropbox. Or maybe that photo is photoshopped. Or maybe it's just a case of who are you going to believe, Z or your own lying eyes. mudbug: I guess the picture of somebody putting a bundle of votes into a dropbox is really a picture of them putting a stack of Christmas cards in the dropbox.
What picture? Please be specific. If you mean Guillermina Fuentes and Alma Juarez, that was addressed above. I voted to reelect Gov. DeSantis to be the governor for another 4 years not 2 weeks. If he runs for President the Dems will retake Florida and leave him in the cold. If the Dems can rig Fetterman and Biden to be elected DeSantis won't succeed nationally.
Perhaps the focus should be on fixing the broken election system elsewhere in the country as mentioned above. I need to email my recently elected congresswoman what's she going to do about it. "It’s Time For Donald Trump To Redirect His Talent And Energy"
Said the politicians who want to get back into power. So why should everyday Americans succumb to this idea that Trump and his 80,000,000 supporters should take a hike? We should all just go home and comply and give up all power to the very same Republicans who made zero effort to expose the stolen 2020 election and now are even afraid to say it was stolen because the left calls them "election deniers" (the NEW "racist!" insult). So if we dump Trump who do we get? Pence? LOL Well, he has a nice haircut and doesn't ever say anything mean. In fact he doesn't ever say anything!! Will Pence fight for your rights and end the voting fraud? Can Pence rally all of Trump's supporters? Or maybe DeSantis will run. We like DeSantis, right! But I think DeSantis will be used as a stalking horse to get the nomination and after he does his support will dry up and once again the Democrats will win. AND most importantly is it even possible for DeSantis to run if Trump is running? Will all 80,000,000 Trump supporters flock to DeSantis OR is the best you can hope for is a unwinnable split? THAT is the problem with dumping Trump; you will lose many of his supporters which means you will lose the election. A lot of old Trump voters have tired of defending him; many times from self-inflicted wounds. The mid-terms and the weaker, but genuflecting candidates Trump endorsed (ffs, did he really blame Ivanka for pimping Oz) cost the entire country.
Do we really want a guy who on the very distant chance he wins - walks into office almost already a lame duck. We can do better. "A lot of old Trump voters have tired of defending him"
And that's democracy, when enough do that Trump is through. Until enough do that Trump will run. Simple as that. I'm one old Trump supporter who isn't tired of him and see nothing that needs defending. "candidates Trump endorsed..." Yeah, that's what the media and the Rinos want you to think. Trump "endorsed" a few candidates that lost and he endorsed a gazillion that won so where is the problem? It's not as though he cut the funds to them like Mitch did. Wonder why Mitch did that... hmmm... to make Trump look bad? "We can do better." Oh really! WHO??? DeSantis? Maybe, I'd vote for him. But other than DeSantis WHO would make America great again or even half heartedly try??? Name a single Republican hopeful other than DeSantis that can be trusted or is half the man Trump is. I'll wait... The uniparty gop-e want Trump gone. He is radically disturbing their easy grifting of the taxpayer and the corporatist economy.
Indeed Indy.
Trump is Satan to both the Dems and the GOPe. How strong is Trump's support with the little people? I dunno, but until very recently polls had him beating Biden handily. I like the idea of Trump getting the nod due to a loyal base and watching GOPe bigwigs' heads explode. Then let the cheating come out of the woodwork in the general election and hand the presidency back to Biden. It's going to happen no matter who runs on the Republican side. OTOH, perhaps the GOPe will learn how to cheat in the primary to deny Trump the nomination? Perhaps they could acquire the skills they badly need to win in the general election? So many future predictions, so far apart. Trump will win, Trump will lose, Desantis is nothing outside of Florida, We'll get Pence. It would be worth looking at past predictions and how they work out. Michael Crighton comes to mind.
As a Trump voter, I would vote for Desantis based on what I see and understand right now. So maybe 79,999,999 would vote for him. Than again, Christ may return before 2024. We had a biology teacher that would play Roadrunner episodes with commentary about fulcrums and levers and a damaged from experiments face chemistry teacher who told stories of making LSD in college.
More save the long gone republic snake oil kayfabe kabuki from Jarvanka Trump? Old and played out like the hopey changer banners or Solyndra solar panels in the dumpster. Sick profit..... Investors have figured out it is rather lucrative to be in a business that is primarily government financed and controlled. Fauci has spent a lifetime grifting on the government payroll with next to no oversight and a very lucrative retirement. They can even provide poor service and little to no accountability just like Fauci.
Join the grifter parade. You have plenty of company in the new BBB/NWO corporate fascist world. I figured it would take about 10 years before the chickens came home to roost and all these "trans" children realized they been suckered into permanent solutions to temporary problems. Looks like I may have been off by a few years.
" GOP leaders, donors and even his former chief-of-staff slam Trump's decision to run in 2024 saying voters have 'rejected crazy' and it's 'time for a change' after party's woeful midterms performance"
Translation: No break me rice bowl! No kick me off glavy tlain! I must have missed something. Do we still have a Primary where we can vote for our preferred candidate, or has that been deleted out of our political process? All this junk-media terror and hate-slamming for someone that hasn't been in office for 2 years, but the election last week was all his fault, eh? Hmm. Can I still vote a candidate preference? Sounds like all these people yammering aren't offering up any solutions. Maybe they should tell us their constructive ideas and let us decide.
Lots of magical thinking from Trump supporters. I voted for him twice, won't do so again.
Assume he's nominated. His ceiling is around 45% of the vote, he might somehow squeak by in the Electoral College like in 2016, but won't gain a majority. His enemies will be even more infuriated than the last time and will pull out all the weapons at their disposal. Highly unlikely he would win the general election, and the country would be torn apart in the meatime. Even should he win, he'll be older than Joe Biden was upon inauguration. Who will want to work in his administration? It's doubtful that he would make better personnel decisions than he did the last time, from a far smaller pool of available people. In his "Grover Cleveland" second administration he would immediately be a lame duck, and the permanent bureaucracy and deep state would savagely resist him. In our system you can't just shout orders and expect things to get done. A successful President needs a coalition of enough size to enact change. Especially since November 2020 everything Trump has done tends to make his coalition smaller. Yes, his most devoted followers are highly motivated, but most of the country doesn't conform to their desires, that's a fact they always refuse to face. I know a lot of Only Trump people, and their fervor is as great as ever, but I also know lots of people who like me voted for him before but want to move on. The numbers just will never add up, and the most likely outcome is that Trump becomes a spoiler in the way Ross Perot was. Only the Democrats will benefit. "His ceiling is around 45% of the vote"
So who is better? Pence! "he'll be older than Joe Biden was upon inauguration" Trump has more energy than a dozen teen boys. Unlike Joe Brandon he can speak intelligently for hours without someone have to write it out for him to read. "most of the country doesn't conform to their desires" How do you know this? The polls are consistently wrong. The 2020 election converted millions of actual Trump votes to Biden votes and millions more Biden votes were faked. Trump actual votes exceeded any presidential candidate prior to 2020. Their desires: "Make America Great Again" if most people in America don't want that we sre in deep shit no matter who gets elected. Ross Perot was a better choice than the other two. Presumably you wanted Bush to win but history and what we know show him to have been a poor president. So who was the spoiler? The better choice (Ross Perot) or the party choice Bush I??? You are certainly entitled to your opinions, but you are not immune to the consequences of your choices. Thank you anyway for two terms of Bill Clinton as well as the subsequent career of his wife, I hope you liked having them around. I suppose we will have eight years of Gavin Newsom or some such thanks to Trump's divisive impact.
I'm certain there were lots of shenanigans in the 2020 election but it is also just possible that the outcome would still have been the same. Democrats always have a hard core 42-45% of the electorate with no interest in MAGA, they only lose when the persuadables don't go their way. Given the chaos of the pandemic and aftermath and constant media hysteria about Trump, it's not impossible that those people decided to vote him out, but I dunno... "it's not impossible that those people decided to vote him out, but I dunno..."
Go see "2000 Mules" There is zero doubt that the Democrats stole the election by millions and millions of votes. By the way, I voted for Bush 1 in 72. But the whole Perot thing is a good example as to why the Republicans have to appeal to pro-America voters (that's MAGA). If the Republicans field some tired old Senator for the presidency then we will indeed Gavin Newsom. https://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/2022/11/what-is-behind-trumps-attack-on.html
