Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Is that real? I believe it is. After all, it worked two years ago and they got away with it, so why not try again? feeblemind: I believe it is. After all, it worked two years ago and they got away with it, so why not try again?
There's no evidence of widespread fraud in the election process. The Blue Shift is fairly normal. Democrats tend to vote by mail, and those votes take time to count. Most elections are called by the media within a few hours because the mail-in votes don't total enough to change the outcome. Indeed, most elections are called even before all the precincts have reported, because the trends are sufficient to make the winner clear. That is not the same as the final vote total, though, which often takes days, even in states where the winner has been called. In states where the vote totals are very close, then the winner may not be known for days as mail-in votes are tabulated, and challenges make their way through the system. “Democrats tend to vote by mail…”
Interesting that they would choose the least secure method of voting. The method that Jimmy Carter, during his time as the world’s election expert, railed against. Conveniently, he changed his opinion for the 2020 election saying that we now have better safeguards but we know some of those safeguards, like signature verification and receipt date were ignored in 2020. In fact Democrats are suing so that if a ballot is not dated or misdated, it should be counted anyway. mudbug: Interesting that they would choose the least secure method of voting.
Democratic voters include a lot of single parents and others who have trouble making it to the polls. In addition, many minority areas have historically poor access to the polls and long waiting lines. mudbug: signature verification and receipt date were ignored in 2020 Please be specific. mudbug: In fact Democrats are suing so that if a ballot is not dated or misdated, it should be counted anyway. Federal civil rights law prohibits preventing voting due to "immaterial errors or omissions." If the ballot is from an otherwise valid voter and received on time, why shouldn't it be counted? Quibble-DickZ: There's no evidence of widespread fraud in the election process.
Fraud doesn't have to be "widespread", a few targeted precincts would do the trick. Uh-huh. "After all, it worked two years ago and they got away with it, so why not try again?"
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, " We may not know the winners of the elections for a few days." There are very disturbing reports from AZ (Maricopa), from NJ, and from Il, of serious problems with the voting machines, while Democrats are warning that what may seem initially to have been a “red wave” may turn out to have been a “red mirage”, but, of course, no-one ought to be even slightly concerned should the tabulating of the votes take days, or even weeks. One should never forget the wise words of the Soviet “Uncle Joe” (who did not, in fact, actually utter them) that what matters is not so much who votes, but who collects the votes and who counts the votes.
Telios: There are very disturbing reports from AZ (Maricopa), from NJ, and from Il, of serious problems with the voting machines,
The problem is with the tabulators. The ballots are rejected and the voter and observers know about it. The voter can either try a different tabulator or put it in a secure ballot box to be counted later. ...to be counted later
Uh-huh. Seems that was what happened 2 years ago, Nothing to see here. Right. FWIW I'm in NJ and the voting machines here (apparently) worked OK. Of course, if we voted (after showing ID of course) using paper ballots followed by a thumb (or other available organ) stuck in purple ink we would not have these questions.
All states should require voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) when conducting elections.
The Democrats have stolen every close election for decades. They were trying to steal the 2016 election but simply had no idea that Trump had such a huge majority and they "under stole". They were stunned. They made up for it in 2020 and thought that they massively over stole but they still barely squeeked through a win. But in the process the big steal was so obvious you could see it from Mars. So to try to stop any efforts to get to the bottom of the stolen election they began a policy of "can't say stolen"! Every talking head and every news reader on TV had to repeat "the most honest election in history" or "the election wasn't stolen that was debunked". Seriously they had to say that or they were accused of being "election deniers" almost as if that were a crime and they would be punished. The 202 election WAS the insurrection.
Twitter user growth hits RECORD high in first week under Elon Musk and haters can’t DEAL
https://twitchy.com/samj-3930/2022/11/08/twitter-user-growth-hits-record-high-in-first-week-under-elon-musk-so-haters-take-the-l/ Maybe a little something something going on in Philly.
Philadelphia officials voted Tuesday morning to impose a last-minute rule change that will draw out the vote-count process. The city's three-member elections board voted 2-1 in favor of imposing poll book reconciliation, a lengthy process intended to prevent double votes, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Tuesday. The reconciliation process would flag any mail-in ballots from voters who also cast ballots in person.. Who knows? Is this satire or is it on the level?
the Human Meat Project QUOTE: By donating bodies for human consumption, we are taking action to solve overpopulation, which leads to climate change and the greenhouse effect caused by the mass farming of livestock animals in order to feed the world. I can't believe this is real. LOL Set the record straight Zachriel. If this is true, it is organized and run by your side. https://humanmeatproject.com/about-us/ The 2020 election was stolen in multiple ways, The steal was so big it could be as many as 25 million fraudulent and switched votes. The election machines were taking 13% of Trump votes and counting them as Biden votes. That is a 26% steal. There were millions of mail in ballots that were not printed or mailed out by the states. Someone else printed them and carried them (not mailed in which means someone in the election division was in on it) in to be counted. Then there were the mail in votes that were placed in drop off boxes by "mules". 54,000 mules! We know their names, their cell phone numbers and who gave them the ballots to be dropped off. But inexplicably no one investigated this or tried to question any of the mules, Go figure. THAT is the SHAME of our legal system and the judges who were too timid to take on these cases.
OneGuy: The 2020 election was stolen in multiple ways, The steal was so big it could be as many as 25 million fraudulent and switched votes.
There's no evidence of that. If you think there is, then please provide specifics. OneGuy: The election machines were taking 13% of Trump votes and counting them as Biden votes. Audits showed the machine count was accurate. Dominion is suing over such allegations. All federal elections end at midnight on election day. That means the voter and the counter are done at midnight. Dragging out the election is illegal.
https://www.thepostemail.com/2020/11/18/elections-undecided-by-midnight-are-void-9-0-decision/ This information is on several other sites. This was decided in 1997 by unanimous decision at SCOTUS. indyjonesouthere: This was decided in 1997 by unanimous decision at SCOTUS.
Foster v. Love concerns the final voting occurring before the established federal election day. At no time has federal law been that only ballots counted until midnight of election day can be counted. More information...
https://clearnewswire.com/480837.html There is nothing in the decision that restricts it to federal primary voting before federal election day.
I saw a magician once turn an Ace of Hearts into a 3 of Clubs simply by waving his hand over it. Now I have no idea how he did it, but I'd bet my life it was a trick and not actual magic. In 2020, I saw Joe Biden get 81 million votes, far more votes than any person had ever gotten before, despite the fact that he was a senile old man who had failed miserably in previous tries at election who did no campaigning to speak of, espoused unpopular opinions, and couldn't attract flies to a cow flop flinging contest. Yet somehow unless I can explain exactly how he accomplished this seeming miracle I am required to accept the miraculousness of this occurrence? I don't think so.
