Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. We already knew Herschel Walker wasn't part of the black community - he's running as a Republican. As a wise man once said, "If you don't know if you're for me or Donald Trump, then you're not black."
QUOTE: NYT Sends Reporter to Herschel Walker’s Hometown to Argue He Is ‘Not Part of the Black Community’ That's actually a quote from a resident of the community, Walker's former high school coach. Meanwhile, ‘Pro-Life’ Herschel Walker Paid for Girlfriend’s Abortion: The woman has receipts—and a “get well” card she says the football star, now a Senate candidate, sent her. QUOTE: Christian Walker (Herschel Walker's son): I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some “moral, Christian, upright man.” You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you. How much did the Dems have to pay Walker's son to say those things? Just wondering if inflation has increased the price from 30 pieces of silver or not.
OneGuy: Just wondering if inflation has increased the price from 30 pieces of silver or not.
By the way, Judas was a disciple of Jesus. He had heard Jesus's message and could have sought love and forgiveness. Herschel Walker abused his women and abandoned his children. They don't owe him anything. The son granted forgiveness was possible, but not hypocrisy—the one sin that Jesus taught drove an irreconcilable wedge between man and God. QUOTE: Matthew 6: Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Now do Joe Biden, showering with his pre-teen daughter. Then do Hunter Biden, taking your pick of hookers and a drug of choice with Secret Service protection. Then do the Clinton foundation. Then do Nancy Pelosi's stock-trading tips and wealth management, juxtaposed with the bill against Congressional insider trading that Nancy has decided won't be brought to the floor just yet.
Feel free to elaborate. We'll continue to know the article for what it is.

"Herschel Walker abused his women and abandoned his children."
That is the claim that was made by someone who hates him. Would someone who hates you lie to cause you harm? Hmmm! Who to believe. Every man in the world over that age of 30 and who is or ever was married knows that women abuse their husbands at twice the rate of vice versa. There are "Karen" memes out there for a reason. God only knows why but most "Karens" are women and they can be dramatic and lie through their teeth without batting an eye. 100% of these women who have had a boyfriend or husband leave them hate the boyfriend or husband and will say and do anything to get even. What this particular election should come down to is simply who is going to be the better congressman and not who was unfortunate enough to be involved with a crazy woman in the past.

Walker's violent past is well-documented, and attested by his own admissions. That doesn't mean he can't change. But he claims to be pro-life even though though he paid for an abortion.

You might try a substantive reply. One could be a prostitute or even a tax collector and find salvation, but hypocrisy makes one blind to the truth. QUOTE: Matthew 23: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.

I did make a substantive reply. You ignored it.
I’ve listened and read quite a few Christian theologians, and I know of only one sin that in theory would be unforgivable. And hypocrisy is not what was discussed. Maybe you can tell me where you got your degree in Christian theology from? Point me to the discussions on the unforgivable, irreconcilable sin of hypocrisy. Pulling two quotes from the Bible isn’t exactly an be all, end all to the topic. Jesus called St. Peter Satan. St. Peter denied Jesus three times - broke that first commandment. Isn’t St. Peter in charge of the pearly gates? I’m sure you’ve heard the one about pulling the log out from your own eye first? How about the mortal sin of bearing false witness; spreading lies and gossip about people? Do you know what is in Herschel Walkers’ heart? Do you know he hasn’t asked for forgiveness and repented? I know what kind of sinner I am. I know I am in need of forgiveness. How about you?

SK: I did make a substantive reply. You ignored it.
You said, "I think you should stick to shilling for marxism and leave the theology to the experts." The same reply could be used for any theological claim, so it lacks materiality. (By the way, we reject marxism.) SK: Pulling two quotes from the Bible isn’t exactly an be all No, but it's a stronger argument than "You know nothing!" As for Jesus, the one group of people he couldn't countenance were the Pharisees, and it was because of their hypocrisy. They would uphold the letter of the law but not stoop to help a man left to die in a ditch. SK: St. Peter denied Jesus three times - broke that first commandment. Isn’t St. Peter in charge of the pearly gates? Case in point. SK: Do you know he hasn’t asked for forgiveness and repented? We already granted he may have repented for his previous abuse and neglect, but because he is running for public office, he has to explain why he paid for an abortion while claiming to be pro-life. To be fair, hypocrisy is practically a job description for politicians, but this one cuts close.

I asked you specifically where to look for your claim about "hypocrisy—the one sin that Jesus taught drove an irreconcilable wedge between man and God." Your non answer lacks, what's the word, oh yeah: materiality. Where did I say, "you know nothing." Z: QUOTE: We already granted he may have repented for his previous abuse and neglect You have a funny way of forgiveness. Was this the grant: QUOTE: Walker's violent past is well-documented, and attested by his own admissions. That doesn't mean he can't change. Even though you have argued with me that abortion was not a sin in the early times of Christianity. The antonym of Marxism is not conservatism. In any case, we support a strong market economy as the engine of economic growth and technological innovation, and private property as a bulwark of liberty. B. Hammer: I asked you specifically where to look for your claim about "hypocrisy—the one sin that Jesus taught drove an irreconcilable wedge between man and God." Did Jesus condemn the adulterer caught in the very act? Did Jesus condemn the centaurian, a leader of the oppressive Roman army? Did Jesus even condemn the tax collector, the Jewish collaborator of the occupiers? No. That's because their own consciences condemned them when they sinned. Who Jesus did condemn was the Pharisees. He condemned them every chance he got. Over and over he called them to account. And the sin he accused them of, repeatedly, the sin that made them blind to the truth, was hypocrisy. QUOTE: Matthew 23: Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. B. Hammer: So, in your theology, no forgiveness for paying for an abortion? The question is not about paying for the abortion, but the hypocrisy of paying for an abortion then running to become a lawmaker who would criminalize abortion as murder.

QUOTE: He condemned them every chance he got. Exaggerate much? Reposting Mat 23 is not convincing that all hypocrites' go straight to hell. Are you condemning all the Pharisees to hell as hypocrites? How does that square with John 3:17? You know that St. Paul was a Pharisee (Philippians 3)? It won't hurt for you to admit that: "the one sin that Jesus taught drove an irreconcilable wedge between man and God" is not hypocrisy. That may well be your interpretation, because you think all republicans are hypocrites, but it just isn't so.

According to Jesus, if they remain hypocrites, then they will remain blind. B. Hammer: Exaggerate much? That would be Jesus who repeatedly made an issue of the Pharisees. Notably, you ignored that entire line of argument, just as you diverted from Walker's evident hypocrisy, who wants to criminalize abortion with no exceptions, well, one exception. Sigh. I want to start by saying that I have been focused on your errant theology. You keep trying to change the subject, with me, to Walker.
Second, you stated that Jesus condemned the Pharisees "every chance he got." Which is a claim that is preposterous. He did so quite often, but every chance he got? Come on. You're being intellectually dishonest. Par for the course. It's one thing you are extremely good at.

The question you raised concerned whether hypocrites' go straight to hell. We posted a direct quote from Jesus that the Pharisees will not enter heaven. Their sin? Hypocrisy. Now, without admitting to that which has already been shown, you want to argue whether Jesus condemned the Pharisees in every encounter. Your argument is of the form “Is not.” We will qualify our claim to be Jesus often condemned the Pharisees as hypocrites who would not enter the kingdom of Heaven. Other times, the Pharisees would try to trap Jesus, but he would use that opportunity to . . . QUOTE: John 8: Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.” . . . condemn them.

Walker has admitted to past abuse. The abortion story is new. The problem the son is talking about is that Walker is pretending to be something he is not. The hypocrisy is also what ticked off the woman who had his abortion. QUOTE: Two Years After Russia Hoax Disproven, Hillary Claims Russia Wanted Trump To Win… Senate Intel report confirms Russia aimed to help Trump in 2016 "Senate Intel report confirms Russia aimed to help Trump in 2016"
If you think a senate intelligence committee report from 2020 has any sway here, you are seriously deluded. “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer told MSNBC’s host Rachel Maddow. eeyore: If you think a senate intelligence committee report from 2020 has any sway here, you are seriously deluded.
The Republican-led, bipartisan Senate report only has to have sway with open-minded readers. While many of the details are still classified, the report still provides voluminous evidence to support its claims. And voluminous evidence is a stronger argument than "Is not" every time. Go ahead (((Quibble-DickZ))) and ignore Robert Mueller's sworn testimony.
Well it has been 3 years. Maybe y'all forgot. Try as you might, you will NEVER escape the fact that the real collusion was Clinton to Perkins-Coie to Fusion GPS to the Russians in the form of Victor Danshenko, the on to high partisan members of the FBI who used the product of that "collusion" to bolster a falsified FISA warrant. And they knew full well where it came from, who paid for it, and that it was a disinfo campaign.
People would have more respect for you if you just acknowledged that it happened and that you don't care because of your ideological bent. But you won't, because you are dishonest to your core. By the way, you never answered--you gonna do that podcast with Danshenko? Once the DC jury nullifies the charge he might have the time--the FBI cut him off the payroll in 2020. SK: Try as you might, you will NEVER escape the fact that the real collusion was Clinton to Perkins-Coie to Fusion GPS to the Russians in the form of Victor Danshenko
Trump sued Clinton over the supposed conspiracy, but the case was tossed out of court. Igor Danchenko is expected to go to trial next week for lying to the FBI about sources, but the FBI is not alleging he lied about the underlying information. The trial may provide more details. QUOTE: Without Any Demonstration Project Or Feasibility Study The article is self-refuting. His primary example of a prototype is Edison building a small demonstration plant, but Edison didn't replace all sources of power in the city, or even just the source of energy for lighting. Similarly, no one builds a green power plant to immediately replace all existing sources of power. His example is El Hierro, which didn't replace all existing sources of power, but did reduce the need for fossil fuels and emissions of carbon dioxide, as well as provided a substantial financial benefit to the community. Cui bono? What the climate change agenda and the rush to alternative energy is all about is the biggest scam in history and the goal is to amass vast amounts of wealth and power and strip the free world of their rights. Simple as that. All of the players have one or more of these goals as their agenda.
The climate is always changing. It is beyond our power to stop it or reverse it. Those who are behind this scam know this and are desperate to make sure that fact never gets debated. There is no viable alternative to fossil fuels at the commercial level. It is all 100% fake and deception. Not solar, not wind! Wake up! This is about taking from you that which is yours and they need your acquiescence to pull it off. Sadly government schools stopped teaching kids to think some 50 years ago so today most people simply can't figure this out. Edison's NY project was DC current and it failed and was replaced by Tesla's AC current--fortunately for us. Edison's DC current made those blocks in NYC dangerous to traverse and the story is that is how the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team got their name--"dodging" wires in the streets. Look it up.
OneGuy: What the climate change agenda and the rush to alternative energy is all about is the biggest scam in history
Anthropogenic global warming is a real phenomenon, even if you refuse to recognize it. OneGuy: The climate is always changing. What will those crazy climate scientists come up with next?! OneGuy: It is beyond our power to stop it or reverse it. The Earth's climate system is sensitive to changes in atmospheric greenhouse gases. Those past climate changes you mentioned can only be explained by including greenhouse forcing. That's why the Earth tends to seesaw between ice ages and ice-free ages. OneGuy: There is no viable alternative to fossil fuels at the commercial level. There is no viable alternative for completely replacing fossil fuels, but there are viable alternatives for reducing the reliance on fossil fuels. rocdoctom: Look it up. 2007: Today, Con Edison will end 125 years of direct current electricity service that began when Thomas Edison opened his Pearl Street power station on Sept. 4, 1882. "there are viable alternatives for reducing the reliance on fossil fuels."
At the moment only hydro and nuclear. If any of the other options were actually viable they would not need subsidies and mandates. The purpose of the huge subsidies is to hide the simple fact that both solar and wind require more energy to manufacture, transport and install than it an ever produce. The greatest bait and switch scam in history. OneGuy: At the moment only hydro and nuclear. If any of the other options were actually viable they would not need subsidies and mandates.
Fossil fuels are intrinsically subsidized because they don't have to pay for the damage due to emissions. Wind and solar are often competitive with fossil fuels. They continue to be subsidized to speed the transition. "Fossil fuels are intrinsically subsidized because they don't have to pay for the damage due to emissions. "
That is such a stupid bullshit claim. Do you think that is a subsidy? Seriously! And who pays to recycle solar and wind power?
