The Princeton journalist who was barred by Title IX from communicating with the subject of his story is interesting. We live in the age where all that is required is an accusation. "....university’s policy is to issue such orders on request, “for any reason and no reason.”" Due process and 'Proof' is optional, and an irritation to the intended process.
But I find he gave up too easily. What was to prevent his commentary on the subject? He could write a daily column drawing attention to the situation. Better yet, where are the other journalists, and why aren't they all over the complaining student and her secret agenda, shining the light of day on it? "During that time, she was free to organize protests, but the university restrained my ability to report on them." Sounds like he needed a 'WAAHambulance" Sounds like he's a little timid to be practicing journalism. You need to understand this reality and begin voting and acting on this truth. It will get worse.

There - fixed it for her. Even when she tries, she dissembles. See any similarities between forcing a burka wear to forcing a mask wear? It is symbolism so that those in power know who to target.
JustMe: See any similarities between forcing a burka wear to forcing a mask wear? It is symbolism so that those in power know who to target.
The situation in Iran concerns the hijab, not the burka. They are quite different issues, however. The hijab is mandated to enforce notions of female modesty. Masks are required during outbreaks of disease for public health. "The situation in Iran concerns the hijab, not the burka."
That is correct, it is so difficult to keep track of the extraordinary stupidness of Islam. Ironically though it doesn't change anything. Still a tyrannical rule intended to dominate and force the dominated person to physically display acceptance of the domination. "Masks are required during outbreaks of disease for public health." That absolutely isn't true. We absolutely know without a doubt that the masks don't work and that the public health officials knew it all along. The masks were mandated because of politics. The Democrats had to make it appear that the health situation was so bad that anything and everything could be mandated so they could use the confusion and mandates as a coverup to steal an election. You know it, I know it and you know we all know that they know we know it and they continue to lie to our face because they think they have us totally in their power and can do whatever the hell they want to us. This is also why the government has not lifted their emergency powers even while admitting that the pandemic is over. Emergency powers are addictive and they want them to continue so they can continue to force their agenda down our throat. It is very much like the Burka and hijab. It is raw power and the weak bending over and showing obedience.

JustMe: That is correct, it is so difficult to keep track of the extraordinary stupidness of Islam.
Other countries make women cover their breasts for modesty. It's a cultural thing. However, draconian enforcement of arbitrary rules, especially without the consent of the governed, is politically unstable. JustMe: We absolutely know without a doubt that the masks don't work and that the public health officials knew it all along. Wrong on both counts. The science on masks has been contradictory. That wasn't resolved until the nature of transmission by aerosols was better understood. In high concentrations, such as hospital COVID wards or crowded bars, masks have little utility. In low concentrations, such as outdoors or open spaces with adequate social distancing and ventilation, masks make little difference as the chance of infection is already low. But, in many typical social interactions, such as in grocery stores or office lobbies, masks can significantly reduce the spread of COVID. JustMe: The Democrats had to make it appear that the health situation was so bad . . . Huh? A million Americans died during the pandemic.

"Huh? A million Americans died during the pandemic."
Yes and we all wore masks, stayed 6 magical feet away from each other and went one way in the super market aisles and how many would have died is we didn't wear masks and didn't stay those magical 6 feet away from each other??? The same number. But in fact we now know that many, perhaps even a majority of those half a million deaths were NOT from covid. Some of the lying about cause of death was intentional with malice because the payoff to the hospital was higher than it would be if they died of old age. And in many cases people just died and without knowing or taking the time to know why they simply said it was covid. So thge simple fact is that not only didn't the masks keep you from getting covid virtually everyone got it anyway AND only those who would have died from it anyway died from covid. Nothing we did prevented getting covid. We did ignore some of the best medical treatment (because orange man tweeted about them) and people did die from covid who wouldn't have if politics didn't interfere with medicine. Do masks work?? YES providing your goal is to exhaust your breath out to the sides and behind you. But do they work to stop the spread of germs?? NO! They bypass the mask and go out the side and to the rear along with your breath, DUH! Does 6 magical feet of distance work. Of course not! Don't even try to argue that stupid mandate. Does going to Walmart stop the spread if we don't allow people to go to smaller stores? Again how stupid were our CDC people? Geeez! But surely allowing people to go to bars only till 10 PM and not allowing them to go to gyms worked, right? DUH!!! Nothing we did "worked". But make no mistake that won't stop them from doing it all again because... POWER!!!

JustMe: Yes and we all wore masks
Actually, no. There was widespread resistance, and Americans often did not wear masks, even at the height of the pandemic. JustMe: But in fact we now know that many, perhaps even a majority of those half a million deaths were NOT from covid. Numerous studies support the COVID death count. For instance, excess deaths ebbed and flowed with the direct count. Nor does ignoring our previous comment constitute an argument against it. See Cheng et al., Face masks effectively limit the probability of SARS-CoV-2 transmission, Science 2021.

Some didn't but by mandate they were forced to in most venues and yet the mask wearer and the resistors got covid at the same rate. We unintentionally conducted a study on the effectiveness of masks and masks failed completely. "Numerous studies support the COVID death count." And the cover up continues...

QUOTE: MSM Fact Checkers Are Paste-Eating Idiots, Exhibit A Actuality: QUOTE: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists: It is clinically inaccurate to use the word “heartbeat” to describe the sound that can be heard on ultrasound in very early pregnancy. In fact, there are no chambers of the heart developed at the early stage in pregnancy that this word is used to describe, so there is no recognizable “heartbeat.” What pregnant people may hear is the ultrasound machine translating electronic impulses that signify fetal cardiac activity into the sound that we recognize as a heartbeat. If AOC was fat and in her 60s, would anyone listen to another thing she ever said?”
-- Adam Carolla So American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists calls it "...fetal cardiac activity...", the "clinically accurate" term used to describe what is known as a "heartbeat", which in a human at any stage of life is the result of electronic impulses. But perhaps you don't know that...
But if you do have that basic understanding of physiology, here's a question--do you think about how these posts are going to make you sound? Playing word game gotcha with human lives is a sign of a sick culture and has terrifying parallels in history. SK: "heartbeat", which in a human at any stage of life is the result of electronic impulses.
The sound of the human heartbeat is from the valves opening and closing. The embryo doesn't have developed valves. There is no sound of the heartbeat, just the electrical impulses picked up by the piezoelectric sensors in the ultrasound. Aggie: Please elaborate.
When people think of a heartbeat, they think of the sound they can hear in the chest of another person. That sound is caused by the opening and closing of heart valves. An ultrasound uses sound echos to create an image of the embryo or fetus in utero. In early stages of development, there is also an audible beating sound created by the ultrasound, but it isn't actually a sound at all, but an electrical impulse picked up by the piezoelectric sensors in the ultrasound. It's a wonderful experience for the expectant parents, but medically distinct from the sound of a beating heart in a more developed human. If a heart beats and there are no piezoelectric sensors to pick it up was the human embryo alive?
Stacey Abrams didn't "think up" this meme. Like so many Democrats she is a puppet and someone behind the curtains told her what to say. This leaves us with difficult choices: Would you want to elect someone who was "that" stupid? Not just Ms Abrams but all of the puppet Democrats who repeat the polling approved talking points. Mow let me be clear on that point; if the polling approved talking point is real and it makes sense I see no problem with a candidate or other talking head repeating it. The difficult choice it that when the talking point is a lie and/or it makes zero sense and is just there to confuse you and divert you do you still vote for this fool/puppet? THAT is the difficult choice that Democrat voters are facing. Do you really want to be lead by puppets who are too stupid to know when something that are told to say by their handlers is too stupid to repeat??? Is that really what people think? That's rather assumptive. My understanding is that a stethoscope is actually picking up the sound of blood flowing, not valves opening and closing. You only hear that with an artificial valve, because it clicks. You can place a stethoscope on other parts of the body to check blood flow as well. You're listening to the sound of blood moving, or rather to the sound of the frictional pressure losses of the blood through the circulatory system.
As for piezo-electrics and so on, I'll go with the expert opinion on the electrical impulse conclusions. My understanding is that piezo-electrical devices propagate the acoustic waves and then read what is reflected back. So it's a transmitter and receiver, in effect, processing electrical energy into mechanical energy (sound) and then interpreting it. It's incorrect to assert that it is reading the electrical nerve impulses to the heart muscle, if indeed that's what the noted heart health expert Adams was saying - that's what an Electro-cardiogram does. The Ultrasound is reading the contraction of a muscle through its changes in density and movement, not so? Anyway - the point is, not only was Not-Your-Governor Tank Adams wrong on the facts, it appears to me she failed to make a point. It's a 'So-What?' question. Does she agree that heartbeat is a landmark event in a fetus, just that it's determined by 'valve noise' instead? That might be a shortfall of the reporting though. OneGuy: If a heart beats and there are no piezoelectric sensors to pick it up was the human embryo alive?
Of course the embryo is alive. OneGuy: Stacey Abrams didn't "think up" this meme. No. It's a medical finding. See quote above from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Aggie: My understanding is that a stethoscope is actually picking up the sound of blood flowing, not valves opening and closing. A lot of different sounds can be heard with a stethoscope, but the primary sounds are from the heart valves. The first 'lub-dub' is from the mitral and tricuspid valves, the second 'lub-dub' is from the aortic and pulmonary valves. Other sounds, such as a swishing noise, may indicate abnormal movement of blood through the valve. Aggie: As for piezo-electrics The piezoelectric effect works in both directions. Electrical pulses create sound pulses. The sound is reflected back and the echoed sound creates electrical pulses. The device is very sensitive, so background electrical and acoustic noise have to be isolated, but the electrical activity of the developing heart is also detected by the receiver. Aggie: Does she agree that heartbeat is a landmark event in a fetus, just that it's determined by 'valve noise' instead? No. Abrams is pro-choice. The valve noise would be roughly consistent with the common law "quickening" standard. For the vast majority of parents, they love every little thing about their unborn baby. However, there are many situations where a happy ending is not possible. Blood flows through the heart and generates noises known as heart sounds. These noises occur due to heart valves opening and closing as the heart pumps blood.
https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/heart-sounds Any sound you hear is from the movement of blood, or the cessation of same. The valves themselves make no noise. I know someone with an artificial valve installed, and you can hear the click when you sit next to her. In the oilpatch, our pumps can run on thousands of horsepower. Pump hands will use a stethoscope all the same, to listen to the suction and discharge valves for leakage, indicating seat and valve wear. If you want to hear some real noise, try circulating out a gas kick from a high pressure gas well some time. The equipment ices up and jumps up and down, vibrating with the sound energy, and the roar as it vents is something else. Moving fluids in general make quite a bit of noise. Regarding piezo-electrics, you simply parroted back what I had already said. According to the experts in the medical field, acoustic ultrasound does not pick up or sense nervous system electrical activity from the body or fetus - rather it uses electrical energy to produce acoustic waves, and again to process the received reflected acoustic waves, to generate an image. Kessler and Abrams are both wrong the way I see it.

Aggie (from link): "The valves close, which causes vibrations"
Technically, it's the sound of turbulence or reverberation as the valve shuts, if that is what you mean. That's not the sound heard with an ultrasound of an embryo, which is not an amplification of an actual sound. There are no chambers or valves to create the beating sound. Aggie: acoustic ultrasound does not pick up or sense nervous system electrical activity QUOTE: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists: What pregnant people may hear is the ultrasound machine translating electronic impulses that signify fetal cardiac activity into the sound that we recognize as a heartbeat.

Turbulence is caused by fluid flow and is not the sound of valves closing. Glad you agree.

An example is the characteristic sound of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle: po-ta-to, po-ta-to. Technically, what you hear is the compressed gas as it escapes past the exhaust valve when opens. But no valve, no po-ta-to.

It's a developing human heart.
Keep playing word games with human life. It reveals who you are. I feel like I need to take a shower after reading some of the justifications for your ideologies. It's sickening. There is truly something wrong with someone who can make such a glib, bad faith rhetorical argument about such an important subject. Sick. Sick. SK: It's a developing human heart.
Quite so. And something quite remarkable. But there isn't a beating sound such as in the developed heart, which is due to the closing of the heart valves. "But there isn't a beating sound such as in the developed heart,"
So what? You're doing what you normally do--trying to make the argument about something it isn't. It's not about hearing a heartbeat, or the whooshing of blood through valves and vessels, or electrical impulses--it's about a human life. And you are diminishing that human life with a rhetorical argument just so you can say "nana nana boo boo." Abrams isn't stupid and knew precisely how this would play out and how the left would manipulate the argument. The sad part is that you are playing right into it.

The "rhetorical argument" originated with those who passed 'heartbeat' anti-abortion bills, using an arbitrary marker in development conflating it with the heartbeat of a more developed human.

Canadian mass grave hoax... The MSM desperately needed it to be true. Everything they view is through the prism of race, sex, and TDS.
In regards to the huge amount of unemployment dollars that were "stolen" during the pandemic.
I think we need a better word to describe situations where public servants are incentivized to distribute as many dollars as they can in the least amount of time possible. Situations where these servants then work to incentivize people to accept the funds. In regards to unemployment funds and grants for small business, I received a series of what best can be described as dunning in letters. Initially politely offering monies if they would be of assistance later moving on to hysterical demands that I claim my fair share. Various law firms also got in on the deal offering to fill out all the paperwork on my behalf and send me a check. All they needed was my say so. Please understand, I believe everyone involved to be at fault. But think we must understand that for many people, saying no to government pressure is impossible. Even if it means being dishonest for people who would never normally act in that way. The plot to eliminate animal protein is well ahead of your plans to keep eating it.
