Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

Oh, we're going to be following the example of Germany alright, but we're going to be liquidating a lot more than 6 million of the untermensch.

Happens all the time on US Navy ships. Has for centuries. Every time they cross The Equator. Subsidized woke public health agenda supersedes actual medical data and care.
Re: BIDEN TESTS POSITIVE AGAIN
This is not a surprise. When Fauci got the Wuhan flu twice, it was reported that the Paxlovid he took encourages re-infection. So Biden's doctor gave him Paxlovid too and he got the Wuhan flu again. His doctor even credits Paxlovid for making Biden sick again. One is left to wonder if his doctor will prescribe Paxlovid for this case of Wuhan flu as well. After all, that seems to be the "approved" treatment for Wuhan flu (and it is made by Pfizer, the company that paid the largest healthcare fraud settlement in history and is the leading manufacturer of ineffective and dangerous Wuhan flu vaccines - what could go wrong?). I guess Joe should be glad his doctor didn't give him Fauci's previous fav treatment for Wuhan flu, remdesivir, which proved fatal for many patients. Thankfully, Biden's doctor didn't use something dangerous like hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin! There's an old saw about a civilization's last days in decline always featuring obsessions with gender flexibility and sexual confusion (the phase we are going through now) but personally I believe that civilizations collapse when they finally become incapable of coherently processing the reality that exists around them, to the point they make so many simple mistakes that they are eventually unable to survive them.
Thus it is with Monkey Pox, today. How can a nation's health apparatus declare a health emergency on the basis of a small subset of deviants who cannot forgo the gay orgies for a couple of weeks - Pretending that this is a problem affecting the general population out of fear of offending the subset - and demanding that we all do likewise? As for the Juul saga, aside from Altria stupidly targeting teenagers with this product, you can thank one man: Former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, that slicked-back, glib, CNN talking head who left the FDA in mid-2019 to join: Pfizer! Surprise, guess who now sits on the board at Pfizer as a prominent company spokesman on health matters pertaining to smoking and COVID vaccines! He used the FDA position to build his brand, then headed off to the private sector payday, but not before torpedoing the competition for his future position. Which segment accounted for the largest nicotine replacement therapy market share? E-cigarettes dominated the NRT market with a share of 52.23% in 2019. This is attributable to its large-scale usage and increasing adoption. These products are commonly adopted by younger consumers, although, adoption is increasing steadily among middle-aged consumers. Who are the key players in the nicotine replacement therapy market? Some key players operating in the NRT market include Pfizer Inc., British American Tobacco p.l.c., Cipla Inc., Glenmark, Imperial Brands, Japan Tobacco, Inc., Philip Morris Products S.A., Fertin Pharma, and Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. It's also wonderful that the condors have come back, but I wonder about lack of diversity in their genes. That's usually a recipe for disaster in a species in terms of a bacterial or viral outbreak.
Public health has been weaponized by the Democrats to control the population and voting rules.
"Juul Saved My Life. So why is the government waging war on a product that helps smokers like me?"
Because vaping nicotine cuts into the Tobacco Settlement monies. Some confusion as the original Master Settlement Agreement in 1998 was for 25 years of payments, so the money train is coming to an end. But the National Association of Attorneys General, who get the money for their states says "perpetuity" QUOTE: Under the MSA, tobacco manufacturers are obligated to make annual payments to the Settling States in perpetuity, so long as cigarettes are sold in the United States by companies that have settled with the States. The NAAG Center for Tobacco and Public Health makes certain such payments are made. So vaping is a threat to the governemnt(s) getting money so cannot be tolerated no matter how many lives are saved. Isn't Brock the sleazy scam artist that runs several interlinked "non-profits" from which he's gotten filthy rich?
yes, that is David Brock. Once a republican, he's now pretty much the nastiest, best-funded political operative behind the scenes in American politics. If there's a dirty trick against conservatives, he's very likely to be involved. He is only in the shadows because there are many Republicans that don't mind his activities. It would do our political atmosphere a lot of good if the light of day was shone on operatives like him.
