Maggie's FarmWe are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for. |

For Elvis, how about grotesque artist? ...for his time that is. He would fit right in with today's artistes; maybe a little retro.
It's not just the Netherlands wanting to cut the food supply.
Trudeau's nitrogen policy will decimate Canadian farming QUOTE: Much like in the Netherlands, Justin Trudeau is bringing in a nitrogen emissions cap that will absolutely decimate Canadian farming. In December 2020, the Trudeau government unveiled their new climate plan, with a focus on reducing nitrous oxide emissions from fertilizer by 30% below 2020 levels by 2030. Trudeau’s government is moving forward, with farmer’s groups speaking to Farmers Forum now wondering if he’s intentionally trying to cause a food shortage — which Trudeau previously told Canadians to prepare for. https://thecountersignal.com/trudeau-nitrogen-policy-will-decimate-canadian-farming/ The Administrative State needs to be taken out back and shot before they kill us all. Unfortunately, that means Congress is going to have to step up and do their jobs, and there's not a snowball's chance in Hell that's going to happen. January 6 wasn't an insurrection, it was self-defense.
Livestock producers now just DAYS away from running out of animal feed due to supply chain disruptions
This is an article about end users, chicken and cattle producers in California and Arizona, saying they are running out of cotn because the Union Pacific is not delivering the commodity to them. They have asked their Congressional reps to pressure the STB (Surface Transportation Board) to lean on the UP and force them to prioritize corn shipments over some of their other freight. Is it really that serious or are they crying wolf? Time will tell. One thing I do know is you don't want to have a feed yard full of thousands of cattle or poulty barns with millions of chickens and no feed for the animals. What a nightmare THAT would be. https://www.newstarget.com/2022-07-08-livestock-producers-running-out-animal-feed-collapse.html UN Deletes Article Touting ‘Benefits’ of World Hunger: ‘Hungry People Are the Most Productive People’
https://www.mediaite.com/news/un-deletes-article-touting-benefits-of-world-hunger-hungry-people-are-the-most-productive-people/ It is increasingly more obvious everyday that the death toll from the covid shot may well exceed the death toll from covid itself. There are literally hundreds of thousands of deaths that are a direct result of the covid shot. It is so common now that the government has begun an ad program intended to cover it up and blame the covid shit sudden death syndrome on global warming and other inane excuses. For months now the evidence has been coming out and the government has ramped up the coverup. But the truth is trickling out and it is increasingly more difficult to hide.
Interestingly a almost perfect petri dish to test this is New Zealand. A country where the oppressive leader went to extremes to lockdown her island. She forced most of her Kulaks to take the vaccine and now is seeing that the covid death rate is double for vaxed peasants what it is for those who refused to take the jab. WTF! This is untrue, and it's not close. I have a professional curiosity why people persist in beliefs even after they have been completely discredited. Having you found yourself no longer going to websites or listening to people who you trusted two years ago? Have you found yourself on sites you never knew about until recently? Do you have new people in your life who are telling you these things? Are you developing theories about who is behind it all?
Are you looking in a mirror when you say that? It seems to apply more to yourself. You have been saying the same things for two years and the evidence at this point is overwhelming.
Maybe these stories represent the new strategy. When the public won't cooperate with the Green New Deals, when they annoyingly demand to see coherent scientific thought backed up by data, when the forward plans and policies are all based on hidden 'models' that meet with skepticism, then the next step is to remove the option of choice. Presto! Regulate hydrocarbons out of existence; de-permit pipeline construction; close farms and regulate food production out of existence; stop feed shipments and starve the livestock; seize land when those measures don't work.
Will the populace eventually realize that only one outcome exists for these tactics, when exercised by an authority that has a monopoly on violence: Violence, one way or another. I've read that the motivation at the bottom of the Dutch agriculture reduction mandate is a desire to re-district the farmland for urban construction projects: New ghettos, in other words. A minister is on record extolling the virtues and conveniences of construction on virgin land, rather than the nuisance of urban construction zones, which apparently are a terrible bother to city dwellers. Just wait until they're the livestock being starved. re A huge mass of used wet wipes has formed an 'island' that has changed the course of England's second longest river, MP says
It would be interesting to see how they deal with this. I used to know a man in Lexington NE who worked for the city. He said they had to continually fight blockages of grease in the sewer lines because all the third worlders living there think you can dump anything and everything down the drain. They just don't know any better, coming from places without sewer systems. One wonders if a similar problem exists in London? LOL
Yep. It sounds like you have been there or no someone who has. It's other aka is Mexington. re A REVOLUTION AGAINST THE ADMINISTRATIVE STATE
One wonders if the Administrative State will simply ignore these court rulings? They could make the target take them to court (if the target could afford it). Even if the courts rule against the agency, the process and expense of the target defending themselves would be punishment. As long as there is no accountabliity in the Deep State and no one can be punished or fired, I don't see a SCOTUS ruling slowing them down much. The admin state can only be reduced by starving them out through budget cuts. Congress could start by simply refusing to pass a budget. That requires leadership that can take the heat. Maga does not have that kind of leadership yet.
It does help that SCOTUS requires more rule making from Congress and has stripped the admin state from doing rule making. The Administrative State Moves to Show Who’s Boss on Energy Policy

Terrified Dems Ramp Up ‘Worse Than Trump’ Anti-DeSantis Narrative as Fears About His Popularity Grow: BWAHH HA HA HA HA HA!! I AM soooooooooooooooooooooooo NOT BUMMMED for them. Most wet wipes are made with plastic, which does not break down when flushed, according to environmental charity Thames21.
Furthermore, they can break down into microplastic and damage aquatic life and the Thames' ecosystem, the charity said. They don't break down, or they do break down, which is it? Also, who flushes wet wipes down the drain? Do they not know they could be plugging up their pipes? We live out in the country, and in this area the surface soils have a high clay content, with low permeability. So, conventional septic systems with leach fields are a non-option, unless you're on big acreage. Instead, we have aerobic systems, a 3-tank-in-series setup with continuous air injection that fosters the growth of aerobic bacteria, which quickly breaks down the solid waste and cleans the associated water. It's a small-scale version of what municipalities use. When the third tank fills up, a pump kicks on and sprinklers pop up and the treated water is sprayed on the lawn (instead of overflow down a leach line). The pump is just a sturdy down-hole water well type pump. Ours cycles a couple of times daily, usually.
If one uses wet wipes in a system like this, you'll be pumping your first tank (sediment) often, cleaning out clogged inter-connect lines, and replacing your $800 water pump on a frequent basis as it gets clogged up with the plastic from the wipes. An expensive education - builders always warn their customers about NOT using them. They are sort of on a level with throw-away COVID masks and plastic water bottles. I think eventually they'll figure out how to make them from biodegradable materials, but they surely aren't that right now. Thomas Jefferson’s Home - I had a somewhat similar Woke experience on a tour at Arlington National Cemetary. By the time the tour was over, I didn’t think any white people were buried there except Kennedy. A very tilted tour.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has found that the drop boxes and ballot harvesting in the 2020 election was illegal. SO shouldn't the Wisconsin votes be removed from the election decision?
