tBy what right do you assume that haploid "worker" and "soldier" "caste" ants identify as female? That supposition that it is, as you put it, the "old women" of an ant colony that go off to war is a sexist projection of the human patriarchy.

While ants are normally classified into three castes, it turns out that some ants are intercaste. Some ergatoid males will imitate the behavior of females.

Conservatives are avidly cheer-leading the Musk buyout of Twitter as if salvation is at hand. A lot of conservatives are convinced Musk is one of them, some even thinking he's a kind of kwisatz haderach. But that's far from accurate, as far as I can tell. Musk has pretty strongly libertarian views (which aren't necessarily a problem), but on the other hand he also appears to be a proponent of a carbon tax and universal basic income, to name a few things that don't sync with conservative thinking. And of course, he didn't get to be the world's #1 publicly-wealthiest man by giving his motives away.

Maybe Conservatives ought to be exploring 'what's-the-worst-that-could-happen?' scenarios.

Isn’t it obvious, Mr. Goodwin? Joe Biden, and those that installed him, are the far left. They follow the same playbook of the left. They even have shock troops (blm, Antifa) and a ministry of truth. You’re right, when they don’t get their way, the screams of Our Democracy, grow the loudest. I have finally realized what they mean by Our Democracy. It not the country, for America is a republic. It is government. Their government. The one that the left now has firm control of. It is their democracy in that they vote amongst themselves for bigger and more government.

When Trump was elected, their democracy was imperiled. A person that unveiled the insidious nature of their democracy. Not since Reagan, had there been such a threat to their democracy. They hated Reagan as much as they did Trump; both ‘sides’ of the aisle. One side calls themselves republicans the other democrats, but both parties believe in the same thing: government. The bigger and badder the better. And when someone, or the people get wise to their charade, Our Democracy is in danger.

Until leaks and blabs result in hard time at Leavenworth, enemies needn't recruit spies. When the leak tracers make John Q. fear exposure, *Natasha or *Fang-bang will say, "Not to vorry, dollink. Ve helps you cover up, and you give us some more little titbit of information."

The Bari Weiss article was wonderful.

As for our spooks keeping their mouths shut, they can't. They always like to claim that they accomplished things, even if they were only coat-carriers. "Oh yeah, that was totally us who did that!" Prime example, Iran. The CIA claimed they installed the Shah in the 1950s, just to brag, and the Islamists burned for decades, preferring to believe them that it was outside interference rather than their own incompetence that had lost the day. We did almost nothing, but because of the CIA bragging we made enemies of anyone who didn't like the Shah forever. How'd that work out, eh? Our various spies have had a few great competencies offset by ridiculous personality flaws since we first started hiring them.

On autism: those who claim to speak for the autistic as not needing help are ignoring those autistic who can't speak, can't function in the world, can't hold a job, bang their heads on the wall. This is not merely "neurodivergent"--these people can't even say that word.
