I think we have seen NASA become just another very expensive and I effective government agency. Then Elon Musk made NASA look like little children playing with toys. We are now seeing our military being emasculated and probably couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag. My suggestion is let Elon Musk create the most effective military in the world. The alternative is we lose the next war.

Optional mandates aren't an absurdity, it's what happens when authorities snap their fingers and people ignore them. It's a face-saving measure whereby the authorities can still insist they're in charge when it's obvious they're not. "We're still issuing orders but out of the kindness of our hearts we're going to turn a blind eye to those who choose not to follow our orders." It's much the same as an ineffective baby-sitter - "You better not get an ice cream bar out of the freezer. You better not unwrap that ice cream bar. You better not take a bite out of that ice cream bar. You better not finish that ice cream bar. You better not get a second ice cream bar." It's obvious the baby-sitter is not the one in control, much as they might insist they are.

NASA has become a sclerotic bureaucracy adverse to risk. Fortunately, they contract out most deep missions to the more agile independent labs. JPL, JHUAPL (Parker Solar Probe), SwRI, etc. can get the job done.

I see a lot of money in politics. The most serious thing I believe I have seen in American politics in my 77 year lifetime is the stolen 2020 election. Yes I know some may not agree and elections have been stolen before. But this was the biggest steal, between 5 million and 15 million votes had to be turned to give us the puppet in the White house. It was a flat out coup and the biggest threat to our republic in it's 240+ years.

Anyway with all the money floating around in politics for one useless candidate or another or one useless bill or another it would be a good idea if someone could round up a million dollars or so and offer rewards for information identifying those who did the grunt work of stealing the 2020 election. In each of the likely five states where the vote cheating was massive it was all done in a single county in each state. That is that in a single room or department in each state someone had to cheat using hundreds of thousands of fake ballots and other methods so someone not involved in the actual cheat had to have seen it happen. Some low level employee who doesn't want to lose his/her job and has no idea who to tell anyway. If you offered $100,000 for evidence leading to the successful prosecution of the perps I bet that in each state there would be someone with the proof or first hand testimony of the facts who would step forward. But we need someone who can raise that bounty money and get the word out.

RNC? Trump? Anyone?

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick put up a $1 million (from his campaign fund) "to incentivize, encourage and reward people to come forward and report voter fraud." A year later, he has only paid out $25,000, to a Democrat who reported a Republican who attempted to vote again with a "dark baseball hat and Ray Ban sunglasses."

Some printing company printed up 5 million fake mail in ballots. It could have been China which would make it difficult for an eye witness to come forward. but even if it was they had to ship those ballots to the states and it is quite likely that someone at an airport saw this and knew what they were and who picked them up.

zach is right to point out that the Democrat party is so feared (just ask Seth Rich and "Epstein didn't kill himself") that honest people are afraid to come forward so maybe even more than a million will be needed to coax these people to come forward and testify.

Boobs in public? My humble opinion is that there are real differences between men and women and to deny it is ludicrous. Men with their shirts off; no one cares. Women with their shirts off; everyone cares including the other women. There is only one reason to take off your top and show your boobs, call it attention seeking, seduction, whatever but there is no other reason including tanning. "Tanning" is the excuse to use so you aren't simply called a slut. I would not put anyone in jail for it or even go before a judge. It should be settled with a simple warning followed by a fine/ticket.

As for "nobody being much interested after a week of it". I disagree. As Rodney Carrington says in his song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh2PjkzW20w&t=2s we love them all. But there are some which, how do I say this politely... There are some that we cannot take our eyes off of and they cause a stirring in the loins. I can guarantee you that I and 99% of men will never get tired of them. Never!

At this point in time it is statistically more likely that if you catch covid you caught it from a fully vaccinated person rather than an unvaccinated person. Perhaps it's time to restrict travel of vaccinated people and allow the unvaccinated to fly without restriction.
