We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
Given that Pulitzer committee did not decide to strip the NYT of the Pulitzer for Duranty’s sycophantic reporting of the Ukrainian famine in 1931 - even in an earlier time when accuracy and objectivity was at least given lip service - I wouldn’t expect that the subject of pulling the NYT or WaPo Pulitzers even occurred to anybody there.
jdgalt1: The only Russian interference in the election that anyone has proven is that Russia paid to run ads for Hillary Clinton on Facebook.
That is incorrect. You could start with the email hacks of the DNC and Clinton campaign. We have the exact Bitly URL used to phish the Clinton campaign and its connection to Russian hackers. In addition, the hackers had a momentary problem with their VPN, which revealed their location at GRU headquarters on Grizodubovoy St in Moscow.
