We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
That's too bad. We need more CO2 in the atmosphere it promotes plant growth. Green up the earth and raise enough food for our growing population. A little more warming would be great too. Thank you Milankovitch cycles.
Dan Holohan's popular seminar Radiators and Pandemics: A Curious Marriage. It was hosted by The General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen
For the NYC history buffs, he tells the location of one of the first radiators invented, size of a mattress, in The Fish Bar in the East Village at about 12:30 minutes in. Still in use, unnoticed by most.
And who knew of The General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen of NYC dating from the 1780s
