We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Better still, can't we just stop hearing about them? Why is this infinitesimally small segment of the population taking up so much space? Nobody but themselves care a twit about their problems, or anything at all about their lives, but the majority can't escape them.

I want to get the word out that Julie Mason on so-called non-partisan siriusxm POTUS radio channel 124 has been playing Terry McAuliffe from Meet the Press saying that Glenn Youngkin wants to ban books. This is untrue - even Chuck Todd corrects the misstatement! But Ms Mason cuts the quote leaving the impression that the Republican candidate for Governor is a racist. Youngkin wants parents to be notified what their children are required to read and have the opportunity to opt out. I am asking people to complain with me. Thank you!
My calls/tweets/emails to the station have gone unanswered and the election is tomorrow. (This may not be the correct venue for my complaints and pleas so delete if inappropriate.)

I want to receive my economic impact statements. I want the checks mailed to me on paper. In order to make that happen I have to go on line to the IRS and fill out a form. THAT FORM has been in place for about six months now. THAT FORM REQUIRES THAT I TELL THE IRS ALL MY CREDIT CARDS, the INFORMATION ABOUT MY HOME MORTGAGE AND SAVINGS ACCOUNTS.
THEY ARE ALREADY DEMANDING YOUR PRIVATE BANKING INFORMATION Only thing is they are doing it in the same way they do everything by force and by stealth and by dishonesty! THE IRS DOES NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO YOUR credit information!!!!! THEY ONLY HAVE A RIGHT TO YOUR INCOME INFORMATION!!

I sense a tip of the iceberg coverup here. I suspect that the IRS is colluding with intelligence agencies, DOJ and the FBI and have been for awhile. My guess is these new demands for intrusive fishing expeditions is because this collusion isn't giving them everything they need. Often we, the people, don't find out about these extra-constitutional excursions until well after the damage is done. I'm smelling a rat.

Expressing exasperation is the 'tell' that they cannot support their case and want to avoid debate at all costs. As the story says, it becomes quickly obvious with any logic that they are not going after 'big money tax evaders and money launderers' if they are wanting to monitor chump change transactions. It's obvious - the question is, will the Republicans advocate effectively to focus the attention in the Court of Public Opinion?

ALL civil service protections for government employees needs to end. Everyone can see that the IRS wants to track every single event in your life whether it is income or credit side of your life. The NIH and CDC are as out of control as the IRS. Are there any agencies that are not out of control? Get rid of civil service and immediately get rid of half of these controlling busybodies.

Tucker Carlson has a spotlight on the Democrat and FBI involvement in the violence that happened on Jan 6th. The media has closed ranks to accuse Carlson of white supremacy but I'm not sure that technique will work this time because Carlson has his duck in a row and they all point to a false flag attack and massive lying after Jan 6. The rats are scurrying but the light is exposing them.

Real life "Indiana Jones" was misleading headline and clickbait. Indy gave all of his finds to museums. This guy faked a lot of his displays and didn't get them the right way at all.
