We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.

Another 'media lie' occurred here in Sydney, Australia a few weeks back. A protester was charged by police - 'punching a police horse'. The media reports all showed a picture, from an angle which appeared to show a fist in contact with the side of the head of the horse. Never mind that video footage of the incident showed clearly that the horse swung it's head towards the man and he instinctively raised his arm attempting to protect himself. The 'man punches horse' story ran on for several days. Proper journalists would have viewed the video and declared 'fake news'!

Australia and New Zealand need a revolution and a constitution. Their politicians are out of control and the citizens have become the enemies.

It should be clear to everyone now that covid is here to stay. Shutdowns, destroying lives and businesses and masks aren't stopping it and to continue these losing efforts is fascism. Eventually everyone is going to get covid or one of it's variants and every year there will be a new variant to get vaccinated against.

I think that our politicians need to publicly apologize to us for their misuse of power and then step down and allow more honest people to run for election. I think that cases should be taken to the Supreme Court and have then decide that no disease should allow a suspension of constitutional rights. Otherwise this will all continue forever.

We should at least try to get facts, as reported, right. Perhaps here was an earlier report that has since been updated. Carfentanil is probably made overseas. We can all guess where.

There is an invasion going on and the invaders are backed by China and others who hate us. Our Democrat party is in cahoots for their own reason even though they fully understand the goal of our enemies is full dominance and destruction of the U.S. For inexplicable reasons the entire U.S. media is complicit in this treason AND most Americans are vaguely to somewhat aware of what is going on but are unwilling to take any action to stop it. We are fast approaching the point of no return.

There is also a site in South America which may have had humans 32,000 y/a. It is controvesial, to say the least. Even if it holds up, it does not look like they left descendants down to the present day.

I am afraid the narrative has been set and the Border Patrol agents were indeed whipping immigrants just as surely as Officer Brian Sicknick was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher.

Well the Maricopa Az. election audit is over and the media reported no problem and Trump lost. But that was far from the truth.

The audit committee was personally threatened to force them to water down the report. Why if there were no irregularities?

The state attorney edited the audit report to remove specific items. Why?

Many fraudulent ballots were cast and yet the media reported that the audit showed no problems.

For example: More than 9,000 mail in ballots were received than were sent out. Typically far fewer are received so it is likely that some 20k-50k mail in ballots were secretly printed by someone and mailed in as legitimate votes. How does that happen? You can't just walk into Office Max or Vista Print and ask them to print 50,000 Arizona ballots. And this would have to be a rush job too. Who printed those ballots? China???

Another example: Over 255,000 early votes were made but there is no record of them being made. That is the tally shows up in the final vote but they are ghost votes never received and never tallied as per procedures. Again, how does that happen and why isn't THAT the headline???
