We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
When schools, i.e., teachers, teach "equity", social justice, CRT, it is, intentional or not, a concerted effort to impede students of color from developing human capital. To dispirit them, to cause them not to try, to give reason why they should not try, even in the face of objective history.
The racism as the Democrats embodied with Jim Crow provoked resistance and failed to keep people of color from striving. The new racism is "improved" in the goal to destroy people based on race.

My theory is that the kids are mere collateral damage. CRT is really driven by the 'almost elite' (i.e., elite-1) class seeking advantage in their competition with other 'almost elites' for that last ladder step.
