We are a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics. Each of us has had a high-school education (or GED), but all had ADD so didn't pay attention very well, especially the dogs. Each one of us does "try my best to be just like I am," and none of us enjoys working for others, including for Maggie, from whom we receive neither a nickel nor a dime. Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for.
This story is full of inaccuracies. I live in Wisconsin and we have wolves all over our county killing peoples beef and other
livestock. I was allowed to get a wolf tag in the last season which only lasted two days. Most of the wolves were trapped. There are enough wolves around here that they went through the whole quota in two days. Most people were upset that there was not a larger kill authorized. In northern Wisconsin and Minnesota a lot of the voting is done by the ignorant. With Minnesota with the Twin Cities people and Wisconsin with Madison and Milwaukee.
They don’t live with the animals and have to have to deal with them. I know a lot of beef ranchers in our county and everyone of them has lost animals to wolves.
I live in a decent size city and I’ve seen wolves walking down the street in front of my house. I just think there’s too many of them right now and so do most of people that live around here. I never even heard of anyone using hounds to hunt these wolves. They are much larger than our DNR describes them.
I don’t want them exterminated but there’s should be a lot less.
A friend of mine who has been ranching, mostly sheep, some cattle, in Wyoming for decades - and who has had problems with wolves, yet still supports maintaining wild packs offered this comment on the article:
"In which The Guardian pays someone to write a story about a wolf hunt, and instead of interviewing anyone actually involved in the hunt, or state wildlife officials who regulate the hunt, their sources are a convicted eco-terrorist and some animal rights activists."
The cover is off, and all the saps that voted for Joe “moderate” Biden know they’ve been duped. Joe is the empty vessel the left is trying use to pass their fringe agenda. It’s almost like their agenda is vindictiveness “let’s ram this down their throats while we have a chance”, and nothing to do with what’s good for the country.
The rest of the world may have hated Trump, but at least we still had respect, and now that’s gone.
