The fact of paranoia and believing in conspiracies precedes any identification of who, exactly, is doing these nefarious things. People have a belief that the real answer is always hidden, and that sinister forces - often allied in unlikely ways - are trying kill us. Poison is common. If they weren't anti-vaxxers they would not become normies, they would move to something else: chemtrails, Jews poisoning the wells. I have seen this in action over the years with the intensely paranoid mentally ill. The paranoia comes first, the identification of enemy second.

Regular merely cynical people know that people attempt conspiracies all the time, but seldom succeed, because secrecy is hard and getting a lot of evil people to work together cooperatively is unlikely. Consider the Wuhan lab-leak. Lots of very powerful forces tried to keep this secret. But it came out anyway. Conspiracies are common, but hard to sustain.

On the other hand, nearly lost a cousin to the "jab". She was reluctant, but because she has the primary responsibility for a seriously disabled relative, decided to take the jab. Almost immediately went into serious anaphylactic sh0ck and was rushed by ambulance to the nearest hospital. Son was summoned (he lives in a distant town) and drove in not knowing if he was being called in to identify his mother's body. Fortunately, cousin survived and was even able - under serious supervision - to get her second jab, though not without consequences.
Ironically, she had mentioned to both her GP and the administering staff that she had had an adverse reaction to some shot earlier, only to be be totally ignored by the "we know better than you" 'professionals'.
