Maniac - do hope you will reconsider. Given, I called the offspring the "mixed blessings"= which they were, we are grateful for their presence and for the grandbrats. It's a tough haul being a mother, even with a supportive husband beside you, but it's worth it

Landlords and tenants - definitely sympathetic toward those landlords. Especially the ones in the same home. May have to fight fire with fire to some extent.

But it's too bad we don't have some wisdom in how to write laws and guide judgements for difficult situations like this. Maybe something from how W. Civ was created.

...intellectuals usher in the concrete tyrannies of critical race theory. Just for fun why not give parents and teachers the choice of the BLM critical theory or the KKK version of critical theory. I don't think the administrative state would catch their breath for days as they cursed the "freedom" of the unwashed. The real solution is to close any teachers college that would promote either theory. Enough with the Marxist propaganda...even the Cubans have had enough.

We are not rats. Birth rates had to decline sometime. The population expansion since the early 20th century was an inflection point for humanity. The shift from population controlled by injury, disease, infant mortality to one governed by fertility control (abortion, late marriage, birth control). While the survival of children happened quite rapidly, the adaptation to controlling fertility happened slow. So, more people. Now we have more of the population having fewer children but investing more in them.

Loser is the welfare states which were premised on an every increasing body of children being born to enslave to support the welfare spending.

Missing the forest for the trees. It's not that Kamala said something stupid, it's that she said something false. She said her concern for requiring voter ID's is that rural voters have no way to show their ID's. Rural voters voted for Trump, she doesn't care a bit about rural voters. Her fear is that requiring voter ID's cuts into the Democrats ability to manufacture voters and ballots in the big cities. Stop making fun of her for not understanding rural voters, that doesn't matter. It's not that she doesn't understand rural voters, it's that she doesn't care.

They don't want to replace math with something more subjective. They want to commandeer the earnings of people who are better than they are at math, because it's not fair that everything isn't equally easy for everyone.

I dug deeper into that progressive curriculum and I am uncertain how worrisome it is. There seems to be a lot of speechifying about contexts, access, and other progressive buzzwords, but then they teach math. Algebra, Trig, calculus. I can't tell whether they are actually moving in a progressive direction or putting on a good disguise so that people will leave them alone. Both, most likely. There can't be unity among the math teachers about this.

I suspect it is at least somewhat negative anyway, as they will have to take time away from their previous lessons to spout nonsense for the crowd.
