As men proceed to dominate in the workplace, to systematically set records in all the athletic competitions (even in the Olympics), even to win the women’s beauty contests and carry a fetus to term, and even get sexual assault cases overturned, now at last it’s clear.

With all these notable accomplishments, at least the embarrassing spectacle of feminism is now behind us, and women at last realize the obvious, that men truly are superior in every way to women. Now finally their feeble accomplishments and their childish aspirations can be seen in their proper light.

Now at long last this terrible social experiment is over, and they can return to the kitchen, forsake these shallow interests where they can never hope to compete for significance unless it's with the benevolent indulgence of their men. Finally, they have recognized their mistake and are accepting their proper place in the scheme of things.

Otherwise, such outrageously damaging and demeaning behavior on the part of self-infatuated men would never be allowed to take place – right?

Frig off, Aggie. Genetic males who can't compete with their own sex and so "transition" to females" prove nothing. They're just losers who are grifting on the latest trend.

Males and females are different; each with different strengths and weaknesses. But I hold your statement that females are always inferior to be both misogynistic and profoundly untrue. Back in the days when I did taxes for an international firm, I was definitely the alpha person in the office. I have female offsorings who are out there working shoulder to shoulder to men and - in some cases - beating them. And I defer to my parents generation which - while it had the women back "in the kitchen" also released those women to do some really good - and underrecognized - work in the community, without which our communities would be far poorer.

I was being sarcastic in the extreme, Frances - pointing out the absolute shameful silence on the part of feminists who have proven themselves to be professional political hogs while actually failing to use their political capital to defend women from the very domineering, bullying behavior they pretend to despise. It appears to be 'OK' if it's from the 'right' class of people.

Silly question, why to they play national anthems at the U.S. Trials? Won't it always be the Star Spangled Banner?

If spectators want to 'root for the home team,' maybe college fight songs or sponsor jingles instead??

A lot of people are getting confused over this because that's the practice at the Olympic Games medaling ceremonies. It doesn't happen at a trials meet. As far as I know all the participating athletes are from the United States, or eligible to be on the US Olympic team.

The actual situation makes her claim of a 'set-up' even more bizarre.

According to spokespeople, the anthem is played once a day prior to the start of the evening event session at a predetermined time. It was scheduled for 5:20pm that day, and 5:25pm on Saturday. The fact that it played while the hammer throw group was on the podium was pure happenstance. Officials did not coordinate the anthem performance with the podium ceremony.

Regarding Charles Murray's book. These are uncomfortable truths people do not want to engage with. I don't blame them. I would not bring them up at all, except that they are explicitly denied and alternative explanations given and policy decided on that basis. Worse, innocent people are being blamed and instructed that they must somehow fix the problem. Teachers who are bending over backwards not to unfairly discipline black students, and who are giving every break to them academically are told that they must, simply must somehow be racist and they need to accept blame, be retrained, and become even more unreasonable. (Because many are quite liberal, they even believe it themselves and try to find some way to blame the other teachers, or the administration, or The System, or society when there is no evidence for this.) While police departments get a lot of things wrong, racism does not seem to be among the main candidates, yet they too are being told that it just has to be so, because the other possibilities cannot even be considered.

I can live with politely ignoring reality while we try to figure out some things that might work for everyone. But I cannot be made to accept a non-reality.

I still think the Democratic Socialists are practicing eugenics as much as they did in the 20's and 30's. They have supported planned parenthood and its founder with taxpayer funding and funding from the billionaire elite. Got to get rid of the minorities and poor whites or at least whittle the numbers down while at the same time collecting their votes and trash talking whites. The Dems hold the lowest half of the financial class in utter contempt and their funding programs are to simply move taxpayer cash to the Democratic program providers without regard for the effectiveness of any given program. What a sad ass party they have become.

Well.....Mike Pence would be presiding over the Senate wouldn't he? Ashli Babbit was killed in the House. I know Pence was hustled out of the Capitol as the protestors entered, but - that would have been from Senate Chambers, unless he was on the other side of the building on business. If there isn't more to the story forthcoming, then I would wonder if it's misdirection.

The shooter has been tentatively identified before and named, just not by any official. If that identification is correct, then he would be one of the two cops that saved a bunch of Republicans at softball practice once upon a time, from a rabid Bernie supporter.
